Does anyone else have this problem? Usually a few times a week while running my fingers through my hair, I'll find random strands of thick course ( sort of all kinky ) black strands of hair. Does anyone know what causes this? I have natural curly hair so originally I thought it had something to do with that but I pulled one out one day to look at it more closely and it was pitch black ... my hair is light brown. It was all ridged and course.

A lot of my hairs are different colors and of varying degrees of thickness. It's pretty normal to me.

I have tightly coiled hair.

Yes, but mine are gray. Not so noticeable in low light, but in sunlight, yes. The texture is different from the hair that is still light brown.
