Default Best and Most Effective Body Shapers?

I am currently a size 8/10. I bought this to die for dress for Bebe to a my Masters graduation this Saturday. The dress is a white linen fitted sleeveless dress. I need to wear something under to bring me in a bit. Lol. I am familiar with spanx (body shaper not the hoisery) and tried them on with the dress. I was wondering if anyone knows of any body shapers that are a little bit stronger.

Thanks!

JCPenney's carries these shapers (kicking myself cause I can't recall the name) but they are great. They have shapers that go under dresses, waist cinchers, camisole types, shapers that have the bust out so your boobs don't get compressed in the process, etc. they have lite and firm strength, neutral and black. they run about 28 and are usually on sale, buy one, get one half off. I LOVE them.

Sounds great! Spanx are really pricey. About $80. I was looking for somthing a little more affordable but effective. Flatten out my tummy. Lol. I will head to JC Pennys today after I get out the gym. Lol.

Bama girl - I want to say I have tired Assest's before and they worked OK. Of course, I think I tried them when I was 50 pounds heavier. Lol. So they just might work perfectly now. Lol. I just want something that is really firm. Lol. I will try Target to day too.

I have an Assets shaper and the one I got from Penny's works better.

I think tikanique is talking about the Flexee's shapewear from JC Penney. I had to go to a wedding recently and I bought one and it worked great. It was really tight, and made of a thicker fabric so there was more "control". I had a strapless dress too and it didn't give me back muffin top, which was something I was worried about. I'd recommend that one as well.
