Default Good conditioners for hair bleached to oblivion?

I routinely dye my hair blue (well, green sometimes but generally blue), which means I have to bleach my roots, and inevitably some bleach ends up where it shouldn't and long story short all of my hair is in very poor shape. It's dry and funny shaped- if you look at each hair they're all bent crazy ways and almost sticky in how much they tangle. I presume it is just your standard bleach damage.

Anyway.

I have been using the conditioner that came in the bleach container and it's really effective, but I haven't found a conditioner sold on its own that works so well. Can any of y'all who have experience with mistreated hair lend me any suggestions?

My niece dyes her hair all the time, and she swears by Sephora's Phytokarite Ultra Nourishing Mask.

I swear by Aveda's Damage Remedy conditioner. It's expensive, but a little goes a long way. I'm also very partial to Moroccan Oil, I use it daily. I tried the K Pak, but wasn't nearly as impressed as I thought I would be, considering the price.

Do you have a Sally's close? They have a product called "hair one". It is a no sulfate hair cleanser. It is NOT shampoo, but an "oil based" cleanser. After you use it and rinse it out, you apply a little more and just leave it in your hair. I swear by it. (doesn't make hair greasy or weighed down) It's like Wen, but a lot less expensive.

Redken also has a line called Extreme Anti-Snap that is great for damaged hair - especially if it tends to break due to over processing.

Best Wishes!

I have bleached blonde hair and my hairstylist recommended Bed Heads Dumb Blonde shampoo and conditioner. My hair was quite damaged before I started using it and its shiny and soft after just one bottle! You dont have to have blonde hair to use it, its simply for overprocessed and dried out hair.

I second this!! Hair One is amazing, and I refuse to use anything else on my hair now.

Hi.. I work in a Redkin salon and have stripped my daughters hair last year and this year- she loves to change her color to deep rich brown, or Grace Adler red...( will + Grace)...( and she is naturally a light blonde)

anyway, the EXTREME shampoo and hair conditioner are great for daily use.. Redkin also makes an Exteme FUEL ( tubes) they are EXCELLENT, you use them after you shampoo , towel dry hair, massage the tube of extreme fuel on the hair shaft- you may need 2 tubes.. leave on hair 20-30 mins and rinse.. you get 5 tubes in 1 box.. Hair is nourished on the inside out...!! You may have to buy it from a Redkin salon. It REALLY WORKS!!

Aveda Color Conserve shampoo and conditioner, and the color conserve strengthening treatment are the most amazing products I've ever tried, and I'm a (former) shampoo addict. I will always use Aveda It made my bleached, then dyed, then bleached again hair etc etc back to beautiful (even better than before) with shine, volume. It's amazing stuff

Do they still make All Soft? That stuff revived my hair when I thought my only option was going to be a big chop. I know nothing repairs split ends and splits weren't really my problem - my hair was just fried from excessive chemical treatments.
