Default Which brands of jeans fit you the best?

And which do you avoid?

For me, American Eagle seem to fit me the most consistantly. They hug the right areas and are loose in the right areas.

Old Navy is the absolute worst for me. I try on a pair of jeans or two every time I go in there and have never found one that's even remotely close to fitting. For some reason the butt area has way too much fabric. It's like they expect my bum to be twice the size that it is. If I size down, the bum area is still too big, but then I have a muffin top. They just...don't work for me.

I do almost all of my jeans shopping at TJ Maxx. I just go to my size (I'm almost always a 10, sometimes 12, sometimes 8), and pick out 4 or 5 pairs that look nice on the hanger. They're well priced too.

The only jeans that ever REALLY work for me are Avenue's Denim Lite. I've learned to only buy 2 pair at a time because I can't afford $40 a pair every time I loose some weight. LOL
At this point I'm hiking them up every few steps! Maybe in a few weeks I can get a new pair. ;-)

Levi's are the best with Lee's as a close second. Gloria Vanderbilt work well, too.

I'm TOTALLY with you Megan, American Eagle jeans are my veryyyy favorite. I also like Charlotte Russe, as long as they're not stetchy. The worst are definitely Old Navy. Wayy too much room in the bum/upper thigh area. In order for me to fit the leg and butt area well, I'd have to go about 4 sizes lower than what fits my hips/stomach!!

I find that I have this butt/thigh problem with a lot of strech jeans in general.. anyone else have this problem?

No, because I have a big butt and thighs! LOL. My problem is the opposite--when they fit through the butt and thighs, they gape out about 4" at the back of the waist.

I bought a cute pair of jeans the other day called "Kut from the Kloth" or some such silly name. They are lower waisted, so that means no gaping waist and they fit really good. They were a little spendy, but since I've spent a couple of months at this weight and will still probably be able to wear them as I go down the next 8-10 pounds, I didn't feel too bad about buying them.

Hahaha windchime, I envy you. I'm hoping my body will even out as I lose but right now I'm like a combination of two different sized bodies

I agree about American Eagle! They have THE best jeans for me. Love them! I also love Express jeans!

I *would* like TJ Maxx jeans if they weren't just a bit too short for me. I like for my jeans to be long and I've only found average length jeans from TJ Maxx. Aside from the length thing, they fit very nicely. :-)

Aeropostle jeans are the ones I really like. They fit me because they come in weird sizes like 1/2. Today I tried on Mossimo skinny jeans at Target and they fit nicely, but they have stretch and I don't know how well they will fit after wearing them for a few hours. I love Lucky jeans too but they don't seem to fit me just right, they make my butt look funny. Another fav is Vigoss.

Lucky jeans, and many other brands, make my butt look really flat. I usually buy my jeans on clearance or at a thrift store. My latest best finds are a pair of black skinny Calvin Klein jeans for $4.90 at an outlet store. Somehow I have a butt in those! I did find a pair of grey slim cut jeans (they remind me of the jeans we wore in the 80s) at Old Navy for $8 on clearance, but my butt is still kinda flatsy-patsy in those too. But for $8 I'm willing to wear them.

Well, the Right Fit Blue are the ones I love. They seem made just for my body, fit at the waist and thigh and hip. I was so happy when Lane Bryant made them and am sad that the flared leg is being discontinued.

I currently wear Angels brand, although I'd like to try American Eagle after all the great comments about them! Old Navy and GAP jeans are the worst for me.

Usually any jeans with a boot cut or a flare. I'm a pear shaped woman so I have heavy thighs.
