Body Shapers

What body shaper do you prefer and why?

I am looking into getting me a couple and I would like some opinions from those that are or have worn them :)

I know I am swimming against the tide, but I prefer flexees over spanx. Spanx doesn't seem to do enough to hold in my lower abs and my ribbed flexees do better. I'm still experimenting with brands so if anyone has particular suggestions for lower abs, I'd love to hear them.

Good thread! I need something like this as well. But I have no idea what to get. I looked last week, and there are so many different types out there.

Per bodysuit...I looked at some with the built-in bra, but is it enough support? It almost looked like it would squash you instead of enhancing. And, my boobs are about the nicest part of my body at this moment. ;)

Are they comfortable? I have a formal event coming up on Friday, and I need something to do under the dress to keep things in place.

Thanks!

Yeah I want something that is gonna hold it in and not squish it up. I have a half girdle type thing where it is suppose to do from the waist down but it makes my belly fat squish up out of the top of it so needless to say, I don't wear it.

I (pretty much) love my SassyBax

Pretty much. The good news, no bra lines on the back and it really does hold the sides and midriff in.....goes down below the waist, holds that in, too, and doesn't push it up anywhere! No muffin top. And it is waaaaaaaaaaayyy comfy.

The bad news is, the sizes are s, m, l and no variation in cup size...so it does kinds smush the girls.

The trade off is, it holds me in so much that I still have a "shape"..it will have to do until I get these $%^!@^^%^ 15 pounds of back fat off.

I love the Bali ones. I still wear them, even at goal. They are relatively inexpensive, comfortable and come in a variety of sizes.
Probably my favorite at my highest weight was this one.

I have a maidenform one. I wore it before I lost the weight, size xl and I just wore it again last weekend. got the job done :)
Mine is thongish panties continuing up with fabric to cover belly and back rolls.

I'm going to try shopping for one on Wednesday...I'll let you know what I find out...:) Thank you ladies!

Thank you, Suzy!!

Tried shopping for one yesterday...

No luck. I didn't find any that were comfortable or fit properly out here in my area. I liked the look of the Dr. Rey shapewear, but it did NOT fit on. I'm wondering...which is the best? Based on cup size, or on body size?

I'm going into Anchorage tomorrow, I've got far more choices as far as department stores there, I'm hoping to find one then.

I just use regular panty hose to suck me in.
