I posted in the mini-goal section about getting my hair evaluated at Bumble and Bumble in Manhattan to see if I qualified for a free cut as part of their Model U program (they teach other hairdressers from across the country how to cut specific hair and I happened to have come in at the time when they needed curly/wavy hair for their curly workshop). So I got it cut this Monday and I loove it.. they gave me a long-layered razor cut. It was just the best experience, they washed, cut and diffused my hair and it was all free.
Anyway, here's a few pics.. I put a little too much product in my hair today so it's a little weighed down/dry so it looks even better without all the gunk.
The first two are before (don't mind me.. I was really tired lol and the funny thing is, I think my cheeks have slimmed up since the old pics as I HAVE lost about 3-4 pounds since then), the last three are after.

hehe thanks! Yup, if anyone lives around the NYC area I highly recommend checking out BumblandBumble.com and signing up for a free cut!
they e-mail you a time and date to come in to get evaluated.. and then they give you an appointment depending on when they'll cut your type of hair.
sometimes it's weeks, sometimes months.. either way it's a free cut and they charge $91 a cut!
Loves the hair! I would kill for your cheekbones; you're a knockout, girl! I hope you have some sassy glasses you wear to show off the cut and the bones.
haha aww thanks everyone! I'm having a lot of fun with this cut..
You know, this is the first time I've ever heard compliments about my cheekbones? It is a bit of a pleasant surprise, I never once thought I could get compliments on cheekbones of all things
Fatter fitter, yeah I've finally put away the straightener and I'm trying to embrace my natural waves/curls.. my hair was really fried before!
Mamaspank, yup I've got the perfect pair I wore out today, felt so appropriate with the cut..
