I agree with others in that pant sizes are so individual. At 360 lbs, I wore a 28 plus. at 330, I wore a 24 plus. at 290, I wore a 22 plus. at 260, I wore a 20 plus. at 240, I wore 18 plus. At 220, I wore 16 misses. I wear either a 14-16 misses. All my weight is in my belly/hips/butt.

I was size 16 during pregnancy. I fit loosely into size 14 now but my one best pair of size 16 jeans still fit nicely. I don't get that. But I've got several pairs of size 14s that fit loosely which is good so soon enough I'll be in a 12? Not sure.

I'm a fat busty hourglass.
256- tight 22 loose 24 3x shirt 246- tight 22 220's- 20 210's- 18 to 20 depending on brand 190's was a 16 As a teen in the 130's I was a size 13, doesn't make sense or its the whole vanity sizing thing. |
I change pant sizes with every ten pounds. I am 5'.
165 16 155 14 145 12 135 10 125 8 115 6 105 4 I gave away all of my larger sizes when I lost weight. I am now 114 and in very tight size 4 pants. That is why I am here. I kept the weight off for over a year, but this past summer I started binging again and I gained some of it back. I find these forums extremely motivating. 165/114/105 |
I started at 231 lbs and a size 20. I am now down to 202 and have only went down 1 pants size, to an 18. I thought it would happen quicker, but when I stopped and though about it, I think it's the way I'm built. Even when I was skinny (by my standards anyways) I was a size 14 but I was only 140-145 lbs. I was disappointed about the fact that I've only went down 1 size, but I think it's more important to lose the pounds first, the inches & the sizes will come

I'm 5'2 and very pear shaped I started out at 215 size 18/20 and now down 20lbs I am a size 14 - i do alot of exercise so i tend to loose more inches than weight which is just fine with me

I was a 24 at 340 lbs, now I'm probably a 22 at 300.

And my friend whos 100 lbs less then me wears 1 size smaller then me. It all depends on YOUR body. I'm smaller at the bottom, where she has gigantic hips.

Definitely depends on your body type as others have said. I love everyone's charts. I thought I was the only one who remembered thing like this.
For me, 15 lbs per size. |
I'm about the same height as you. Aside from body shape, what I've discovered is that my sizes fit differently depending on *how* I've dropped the weight in the past.
When I have dropped the weight only by dieting, clothes fit very differently than when I did it with regular exercise. I don't remember exactly what the correlation between weight and size has been for each case, but I am certain the 2 scenarios do not match. Right now I am just over 190, and after about 15 lbs, I am just starting to be able to fit into my tighter 16's, but the looser of the same size still fit quite well. |
I'm a loose 26 at 300, but when I use to weight 257 I was still a 24, and 22s were too tight.
The new LB system is confusing as **** anyway, so it's a wonder I even know numbers anymore! :dizzy: |
I'm pretty confused about weight and pant sizes; I don't think I work on the same tiers as other people. Here's my history:
288-250ish size 22 250-220ish size 20 220-200 size 18 190 (my smallest) size 16 |
Kelly, I don't often seem to be the same size as others my height and weight either.
18: higher 180s and up to about 200 I'd guess 16: lower 170s and 180s 14: ~155-172 12: ~154 and down 10: ~137 and up (can't remember what weight I went from 10 to 12) 8: ~128-136 Like others, I have a smaller weight range at smaller sizes. |
