Default Summer friendly, eco friendly, active friendly clothes?

I am going on a trip to Central America next month and I want to pick up a couple pieces.

I need shirts size L(sometimes M) and pants size XL or 16 (misses). Eddie Bauer is one of my past gotos but I'm not sure how eco friendly the company or their clothing really is but I still haven't looked into it deeper, yet. I'd like to pick up a couple tops (short sleeve) and a capri or short and maybe a light jacket.

I'd also like fair trade/wage type stuff.

Uhh, any recommendations?

(hah and leave it to me to put this initially in the wrong forum)

I think Mountain Equipment Co-op is pretty awesome in all the ways you'd like. It's Canadian, but I believe they ship all over. Since it's a Co-op, you need to become a member, and that costs $5. Cute stuff, variety of sizes, and (I think) well priced.
