  • I love the book idea. I've lost 30 lbs so far and I wish I had taken pictures of me before, there aren't many and the ones I have I'm "strategically" placed to hide me! LOL

I do have a pair of size 18/20 pants from Lane Bryant, that's the biggest size I've ever worn and they were VERY tight at my highest weight!
  • Quote: You know what would be so cool? If everyone posted a picture of themselves in their big pants and skirts and we pulled them all together in one place!

If you have a picture - post it ... if you don't, take one and post it. I'm sure we can figure out a way to put together a gallery of fat clothes pictures for the Goal! forum.
I brought in my old pants/skirt today and had a friend take the pictures! The jeans are THE famous size 18 Eddie Bauer loose fit jeans I wore everyday to work for about 3 years. Those pants getting too tight was one of the catalysts for my big change!

I can't get the upload to work but here are the links! (I just pulled the jeans/skirt on over my own jeans)

And an after picture in my skinny size 8 Old Navy jeans (which are a little too big now!)

  • I LOVE your pictures!!!

OK, I think what I'm going to do is start the Big Pants/Big Clothes thread and sticky it ... let me go play.
  • Maybe this is small enough?

  • Awesome thread!! I am so happy to see a Maintenance Forum. I have been maintaining a 100 pound loss for almost 2 years now. It's not always easy but I'm doing it. Woo!Hoo! There are lots of great tips in this thread. I will be sure to remember them.
  • and congratulations!

We have a section for Introductions if you'd like to share your story. Poke around and post away - we hope to hear lots more from you!
  • Thanks Meg!! I hope to become a regular. I can always use the support. Maybe in the future I'll post my story, thanks again.
  • Glory
    Awesome pictures!!!
  • Good thread Meg! I needed this.....
  • I really like these DO's and DON'T's. Thank you very much.
  • Thanks for bumping this one! I'm an *almost* maintainer and this couldn't have come at a better time for. It just confirmed all of my suspisions about maintenace and gives me confidence that I too will be a long term maintainer and not a statistic. I'm still reveling in the the high of hitting my maintenance range, but I hope to practice ALL of these do's and don'ts religiously!
