Thumbs up Became a Lifetime WW member today!

I got some great news at my weekly WW meeting--I became a lifetime member today! I feel very proud of my accomplishments. This 3FC forum has been a big part of my recent success; everyone has given great advice and been very supportive thru some challenging times.

Tonight we had a big family dinner at Rainforest Cafe to celebrate MIL's birthday. I split a broiled fish entree w/my son, ate some of the fish, 1 piece bruschetta and some steamed veggies. I ended up taking a lot of food home for tomorrow's lunch. It felt great that I knew when to stop. (Oh, I should also mention I had a Heinekin with dinner--best 3 points I have tasted in a long time! ).

The last time I posted, I said my goal was to become Lifetime by the end of this month. So I have to revise my plan now that I met the goal early.

Well, I feel just great. I know there will be obstacles down the road, but I feel capable of meeting the various challenges. I am at a weight that feels comfortable, my clothes fit and I am exercising a reasonable amount. Time to free up some space in my brain from constantly thinking about my weight.

Take care.

Congrats, Elana on making Lifetime at WW!!! It is such a great feeling to finally be at goal wt., isn't it? I made Lifetime at WW this past June, and I was sooo excited! I felt like running up and down the street telling anyone who would listen to this crazy woman!!! LOL Seriously, you have a right to feel good about yourself! Now the hard part is about to begin, or at least I think so. At first, when I made Lifetime, I was soooo worried that I would regain all my wt. back. So far, I have done fine, however, it is a never ending challenge to keep those unwanted pounds off forever. You can do it!!! Once again, congratulations Elana for a job well done!!!

I sometimes feel that I think of my weight MORE now than ever...But I'm not complaining, I like this weightloss more than anything So it's important to keep thinking in order to keep motivated and to keep the weight off...IMO...

Congratulations!!

Keep up the food journal and the weekly weigh-ins (at least for a while). Oh, and relax just a little!

Default That is very good advice

I am planning to keep up with weekly weigh-in and meetings. I really like my leader; she is very supportive and has lots of useful suggestions. At this early stage, I think I need the accountability of the frequent check-in, and I don't own a scale at home (I use the "zippability" of my pants as my scale ).
