Mine does, too! :carrot:

Mine says I went on vacation and dropped 4 pounds.

I don't think I'll try to adjust it.

We went to the Shen Yun symphony orchestra performance yesterday. Very enjoyable. There are very limited snack and beverage options at this venue. I usually get a small bag of cashews (the only thing without added sugar or preservatives) but my stomach told me yesterday that I can't do that any more. Not sure what I'll do as an alternative . Security checked handbags yesterday so I can't smuggle in my own snacks.

Wow, Dagmar, that's a pain about the snacks. Call the venue and see if they can give you a waiver based on "dietary requirements". Or here's a sneaky idea - a nutrition bar will fit in an eyeglasses case. Wrap the bar in a handkerchief, put it in the case, and I bet they won't check.

Nice fall weather continues here. Yesterday I had too many inside things to get done, but today I intend to work outside at least three hours!

We have a tiny smidge of fall here - today it is only getting up to 83. LOL

JayEll 10-08-2019 04:35 PM

Definitely not fall in Florida yet. 87 degrees F with 66% humidity. Feels like 93. Want some cooler weather soon, please.

This weekend is our Thanksgiving here in Canada. We're going to my SIL's on Sunday and at home just us two Monday.

SIL asked me to bring salads so I'm bringing two that are kind of "autumn" themed ingredients and not too high cal.

For our own dinner I am baking a cheesecake for dessert. It's the test cake for Christmas Eve, but with slightly different flavouring stuff.

Dagmar, are you sure you want to bake a cheesecake? Any leftovers would be too great of a temptation for me!

My weight is staying within an okay range, but I still have a problem with snacking at night. I tell myself "okay, that's it. No more food before bed" But then I find food going into my mouth! Maybe I need one of those online psychologists.

Alice The leftover cheesecake is going to DH's workplace the next day. I have a fan club there for my baking apparently.  And I hear you on the snacking at night. I have my yogurt cup and allotted portion of fruit around 8:30 p.m.and then I have to go upstairs and read in bed until I fall asleep. Otherwise I find myself constantly going into the kitchen and nibbling. :mouse:

Turkey day today! My DH's nephew is making the bird and I think everyone else is bringing sides and desserts. Should be a fun gathering!

I hope your Thanksgiving Day was happy!
