  • Saturday, Dec. 28th:

My usual Saturday morning at the gym

60 minute spin class with weight and resistance band intervals
    60 minute Pilates mat class
  • Gotta catch up!

    30 minutes foam rolling

December 25: 60 minutes weight lifting

    December 26: P90X Plyometrics
4 miles walking on treadmill (incline 2%) 35:21
1.5 miles walking on treadmill (incline 8%) 22:23

December 27: 1 hour yoga DVD

December 28: 60 minutes weight lifting (lats, delts, biceps)
    1:06:04 Elliptical - ramp angel 30%, resistance of 5
    30 minutes foam rolling
  • December 29: 13.12 miles running (1:46:51)

    30 minutes foam rolling
  • Sunday, December 29th:

    15 minutes StairMaster, the usual
60 minutes shoulders, biceps & triceps, at a higher weight and with fewer reps.
45 minute spin class, a killer, and crowded. The January crush has begun.
  • Monday, Dec. 30th:

45 minutes on the treadmill, incline at 2.0, speed of 4.6
    Then five minutes walking
Then alternating one minute at 4.8 and one minute walking.

Running is hard. Not the breathing part. I can breathe perfectly fine due to years of other kinds of cardio daily. It's the gait, the pounding, the rhythm. And the mental thing of not stopping.

Dec. 26: 100 minutes bikram yoga

Dec. 27: 105 minutes bikram yoga

Dec. 28: 70 minutes spin class

    Totals:

    28 workouts
    2790 minutes
Dec. 29: 105 minutes bikram yoga

Dec. 30: 100 minutes bikram yoga....not feeling great but one of the best classes of the year. My fave instructor who's super motivating and encouraging. She gave me a goal for 2014 which is good because I was thinking about goal setting during class.

    Totals:

    30 workouts
    2995 minutes
  • December 30: 50 minutes ab and core work
  • Tuesday, December 31st:

    30 minutes StairMaster, the usual
60 minutes chest, shoulders & triceps, increasing my weights on almost all exercises and finding this was not a problem on many, which means this has been overdue

This will be the last peaceful morning in the gym for some time.
