It's been chilly here too, although at least it is sunny. The NICU put together mother's day presents from each of the babies -- flower pots painted with little flowers where they used the baby's toe prints to make petals, with their names painted on the flower pot and photos. They were really cute, even though Cecilia looks angry in her photo.
Both girls are continuing to do well. They are two weeks old today! Hard to believe it's been that long already. My weight is continuing to go down -- 168 today -- although I still look pregnant and get asked when I'm due every time I go anywhere. How many weeks does it usually take for your belly to go back to a normal-enough size to not look pregnant anymore?
Becky, I hope your dad gets well soon. Isn't it frustrating when family members don't tell you about people's illnesses? When DH's grandpa went into the hospital nobody thought to tell us about it for over a week, at which point he was already moved to hospice. I completely fail to understand what the purpose is of not telling people things like this.
Michele, congrats to your DD!
