I posted earlier in this thread but I am now about 9 weeks into maintenance and still maintaining at 1750 calories. I ended my weight loss at 1200 calories so I raised it quite a bit for maintenance. So far it's working....but yes when I 1st started raising my calories I did gain a couple of pounds. Then it evened out and I even lost a few extra. Right now I am actually 5 pounds LESS than my goal.
What about "metabolism"? Doesn't that affect things, or is that a myth too that some people can eat more and some just can't? I believe I have always had a fast metabolism because in my younger days I could literally out-eat any man and still stay thin. It wasn't until after I had 5 kids and was in my early 30's that I started holding onto a bit more weight.
So is there truely a way for those with slow metabolisms to make them faster?
