Loving Me 01-06-2011 08:06 AM

I'm still struggling with this and at a point where I really don't know what to do, so just taking it one day at a time, long story I'm afraid.
At the beginning of my journey I couldn't ever imagine getting to goal, but I wanted a ticker on here  so I had to choose one. So I chose 145lbs which would mean I was a normal BMI, just.
When I reached 145lbs I realised that this wasn't enough for me, I wanted some room for manoeuvre so decided to go for 139lbs which would give me breathing space in the BMI stakes and also mean I could say I weighed 9st something instead of 10st something, as we use stones and lbs in the UK. I don't ever remember weighing 9st something in my adult life, so thought this would be it for me with 145lbs as my red line...
After losing so much weight I have lots of loose skin unfortunately, even though I've been doing toning and strength training for about 6 months now. Things have improved a lot and I know still will in the future, but the body I hoped I might eventually get hasn't appeared, so I can't gauge by that where I need to be.
Anyway, I reached I got to 139lbs early December and you know what, I really love being able to say I'm under 140lbs or 9st something . So then
I decided I wanted to get to 137lbs which would mean I'd lost half my original body weight. I did get to 137.5lbs a few days before Xmas but I had a bad holiday and ended up at 140lbs again on 1st Jan. I had been toying with trying to go for 132lbs with 137lbs being my red line but I really don't know. I've managed to get 2 of those xmas pounds off but am still at 138lbs now and fighting to get back down.
I know these lbs aren't really going to make much difference to my body shape and clothing size because of the loose skin, so I know I've reached a point where it's a numbers game I'm playing in my head.
If I'm completely honest I'd love to get to 132lbs with 137lbs as my red line so that whatever happens I can say I've still lost half my body weight, but fighting this last few days has made me wonder if it's achievable, and I'm toying with just trying to go for 135lbs and keep 140lbs as my red line.
Guess only time will tell....

Imperialistic: Is your sig from Virtual Model? I tweaked mine today but I was laughing at how you put in higher weights and it still gives you a flat stomach, just a bigger flat stomach! The clothes you "try on" simply skim over the top of the flat stomach they gave you, there's no clinging and bulging, and no side view. I see virtually no difference between 136lb "me" and 124lb "me", though, which really helps.

Haha yeah, I had to adjust my "smaller" model in photoshop so she'd look skinner than my current model (which was 150 lb and looked exactly the same). I wish they'd come up with something more accurate but I'd never use it to buy clothes for that exact reason.
I mean, my 197 lb model doesn't look too bad for someone whose almost 200 pounds. No belly fat in sight and no sag anywhere.
