    Thank you, friends, for your good wishes and saef for the video.

    It was a lovely day. I'm interested in architecture and we are staying in a rescued C18th garden pavilion for a few days. Birthday lunch at a rescued Art Deco hotel on the sea front, looking across the wide expanses of Morecambe Bay to the Lake District. Great public art focussing on birds (v good for waders here) and the seashore. And just up the road from Liverpool so the Beatles in their very Scouse days were just right.

    Now back to the other 364 days.
