Bumping the thread up for my own sake. Could somebody give me a kick in the rear please? I need to get my food on track.

How's everyone else doing?

Megan, it's Monday girl! A good day for a fresh start. Take it just for today. Success begets success, and all that jazz! You can do it!

I promise to eat how I should today if you promise to eat how you should!!

Megan and Midwife, I will join you in your promise to eat right today! After days and days of the scale reading right around 139, it told me 142.6 this morning. I know it's water, but it was still a good

Thanks Kitty, I know you really care now!

Lol, no really, thanks ya'll. On track so far. I just went for a 20 min. walk with some of my co-workers. I've been told there's cake in the front office, but I'm not going to have any. Still not sure if I'm fit to go to the gym later, but if I don't, it will not be a time filled with food (I'm thinking a nap instead). We can do it together!

Jessica, we've got to get rid of the flub before it solidifies into real fat. Y'know? Yeah, y'know.

Kitty, I can't wait to see your super hot dress!

Megan, Midwife, how did it go? Did you stick to your good foods? I did! The scale was down to 141, so there is still some water to go.

Now we just have to do it again today. Let's not think about tomorrow yet.

My water weight is gone, yay! Back to 139 today. I won't be making it to 137 by next week, but hey, 139 is better than 140.

I have been eating better, but have also been sick so no gym time. Working on getting better, then re-upping exercise intensity!

Jessica, glad the water weight is gone!

I am at my mother's for a few days.

Learning point 1. Don't bother weighing yourself on a different pair of scales. Especially one which shows 5-7 lbs more than your own.

Learning point 2. Eat morning & afternoon snacks. Not to do so leads to overeating at mealtimes (and indigestion). It's OK to miss snacks at home if I'm not hungry, though, because it's all more controllable.

Otherwise, all is looking good.

I got to the gym for 45 min. of elliptical yesterday, and did not feel like I was going to keel over. I think I can safely reintroduce workouts into my life, as long as I keep getting plenty of sleep (I'm feeling much better, but still a bit congested and needing gobs of sleep). Food was OP yesterday, with the "extra" of honey in my tea. I felt so much better this morning, I was actually hungry for my oatmeal.

Oh, that's right, I had a Valentine's Day goal, and that's this Sunday. Hmm... better brave the scale someday soon!

Silver, glad things are going ok at your mother's. I hope you get your snacks sorted out.

midwife, how is the food intake?

How's everyone else doing today?

Food intake is so-so. Yesterday was DD's birthday and I ate fried chicken and all the fixin's and cake* and didn't have (make) time to exercise, so I'm feeling icky this morning.

Can't believe Valentine's Day is Sunday! Hope everyone makes it through their challenges this weekend unscathed!

ETA: Okay, I had 3 cupcakes. If I can't admit it to you guys (and all the lurkers), who can I admit it to?
