What's accountability?

Oh.....

Well, my weekend wasn't awful, but wasn't 100% healthy either. I split a dessert with DH Saturday night and I had fritos (shock!!) last night. And 2 chocolate chip cookies in the middle of the night while waiting for babies to exit into our world.

Today:

yawn!!! a nap is in order!
eggs, zucchini, flour tortilla, a little cheese, red chile
That's all so far! One hour weights at the gym tonight!

I hope you get back to 100% soon, Shannon!

My weekend was also not bad, not great. I did have cupcakes, but I didn't BINGE on cupcakes, which I tend to do when I'm at a bakery where I can't go very often. I ate moderately and yesterday was back OP, but my scale has way too many factors going against it and is rebelling. I'll get back POP today, and it'll work itself out (I hope!)

B - Protein Shake w/ strawberries
S - Melon
L - Boca Bruschetta patty, topped with some pizza sauce and mozzarella, on a whole wheat bun
S - Popcorn
D - Ground turkey breast meatloaf, sauteed squash, potatoes
S - NSA Ice Cream, Strawberries

E - 80 min cardio

Hi -

I'm home as of about 7:30 this morning, but I notice that my fridge/cupboards are looking quite bare of good food. Need to go shopping before I make dinner tonight....

B - cheerios with 1/2 banana, skim milk; 1/2 ww bagel w/butter
S - ff latte
L - 3/4 chicken quesadilla (restaurant, so not exactly lf)
D - ?? really, there are likely veggies at home, and there's always chicken in the freezer, so maybe a stir-fry

Excercise resumes tomorrow. Tonight is unpacking and getting to bed at a reasonable hour. I hate flying home from the east coast....

Just a grateful comment from a mostly-lurker - Reading what the successful Maintainers are eating has been really enlightening. I doubt that most people who are reluctant to start a weight loss program would think to start here, but clearly, thin healthy people DO eat a lot, and eat a lot of incredibly delicious food! I'm "maintaining my losses so far", and this weekly thread is becoming one of my first stops each day because it's pretty amazing what y'all are doing to food!

POP again yesterday, and my vacation weight is gone. Actually, amusingly enough, today I am exactly the same weight I was on december 30 last year. Oh well, at least I'm not MORE than I was then. I guess it just goes to show that with my thyroid medicine dosage finally normalized, I am capable of maintaining my weight again.

Wednesday:
B - raisin bran, blueberries, skim milk
L - leftover mushroom zucchini risotto
S - tiny apple, small asian pear
S - small apple
D - chicken tamale casserole, green beans
E - HIIT run

I swear I wrote a post here yesterday, but now I don't see it... Sadness...

ICU - I sometimes feel like I'm eating all the time, my boss often asks me 'how do you keep from gaining all the weight back, you are eating every time I come into your office'.When I plan in advance and have healthy choices I seem to eat even more often! Now, I'm trying to get more creative with the cooking! Congrats on maintaining your loss so far!

Yesterday:
No exercise, was still pretty out of it.
B: smoothie, coffee
S: string cheese, strawberries, blueberries
L: grilled chicken BLT on wheat trail mix
S: lf vanila yogurt w/ berries
D: pb&j, apple w/ laughing cow
S: multigrain sandwich thin w/ one slice cheese, 2 slices salami, 1 slice ham, 1 slice pickle

Today:
E: going to try some light strength training and cardio when I get home, ease myself back in after a week of no exercise. I feel almost human today.
B: smoothie, coffee
S: string cheese
L: grilled chicken & veggies on WW warp
S: kashi go lean w/ skim & berries
D: ground chicken breast tacos - found whole grain taco shells, they are pretty good.
S: coffee, yogurt

Yesterday didn't end well, but it's done and I've gotten up and shook off, and am ready to start again. It does help to have actual groceries in the house.

L - turkey sandwich with veggies (Subway)
S - apple, cheddar cheese
L - chicken, rice, veggies (maybe separate, maybe stir fry)

Ex: the last day of vacation rest Back at it tomorrow.

Hope you're feeling better Shannon!

Today, I may not exercise. I got 6 cortisone shots this morning in my shoulder, and I can't really move my arm. If 6 shots with a big wiggly needle isn't enough of a reason to skip exercise, I really can't think what is. But if I can, I'll do something.

B - PBJ
S - Protein Shake
L - Leftovers: Grilled chicken, black beans, green beans
S - Popcorn
S - Melon
D - Beef stew in crockpot after I go get my hair done (poor planning. Will have to sit up in hair chair. At least I have good meds.
S - NSA Ice Cream

E - we'll see.
