  • Quote: Somebody tell me that this wears off after a couple years - PLEASE!
    Nope!!!

  • <slinking off to ebay and Craig's list and freecycle to look for additional storage containers>
  • I need to go through and weed out some big stuff since I found some clothes that I wore last time I was this size and those need to be put back in rotation. All my big clothes are going into boxes under the bed.
  • I love this dress!

Normally, I would just get black. Should I dare and get a color??
  • I ADORE the grey!!!
  • Beautiful dress! Go for a color -- they're all so pretty.
  • Glory, all the colors look great - go for it in color! =)

I was trying to avoid spending money unnecessarily on new clothes, but yesterday I went into J. Crew and they have some really cute stuff this season! I didn't get anything yet, but I promised myself if I stay on plan this week I can go back next weekend and get an outfit. =)
  • I so want a new pair of jeans but can't find anything that appeals to my senses (senses meaning less than $100!).

So instead I bought bras and undies in black, taupe, light blue and dark purple (all because I needed a new white bra! lol).
  • I need so many new clothes... pants, bras, dressier shirts... I just can't make myself want to shop right now. Argh. I even have a couple of gift cards left from my birthday in May I still haven't used... how sad is that...
  • Glory - I love the dress! Definitely go for a color! The cadet is beautiful, and would look great with your skin tone!

I had to laugh at the bra shopping - after YEARS of white and beige, the two latest bras are giraffe print and blue/pink tie-dye print.

Yes, I'm a shameless clothes horse even when it comes to UNDERWEAR now. I'm just so thrilled that I CAN find bras that fit in cute patterns and styles without special ordering something I don't like and that costs more than my groceries for the week
  • at Counting Down's bras. Not like I've done anything like that. No sirree.

My most neurotic side effect of weight loss is that my bras and panties have to match each other -- and the set has to go with the outfit I'm wearing.

I try to match colors as well, but if I'm wearing khaki pants and a black shirt I usually wear taupe undies and a black bra. I don't mind mixing, but now that I have these cute matching ones, I have picked my outfits the past two days to go with the undies! It's blue today, purple was yesterday!!
  • I was having a blech day in the office, not much to do sitting at my desk, so I volunteered to go to the dive shop and order some dive booties for a few people who need them here for work. Oh and while I was there I picked up this cute skirt, marked down 75% to $20 (obviously paid for by me, not paid for along with the work stuff). I'm going to wear it with an off-white top I already own, or a light pink shirt if I ever find one that matches the light pink in the pattern of the skirt. See, I don't need no stinkin' brownie to make me feel better! Shopping will make me feel better!

Glory did you decide on what color to get? I do love the colors but I do like grey a lot too.
  • I tried taking a picture but couldn't get a decent one.

Purple! A v-necked sweater with a green tank and a floral skirt in all those lovely fall colours with purple ballet flats. Even though I'm 20 lbs up ... I feel good!
  • I had to hop around and contort myself to do it (the woman in the next dressing room must have been wondering what on earth I was doing in there!), but I managed to zip up a pair of size 10 jeans! Hey, breathing is overrated, right? Celebrated by going back to buy a gorgeous smoky blue handknit sweater to go with the jeans.

Darn straight better than a brownie!
