Default Chex Mix? Seasoned salt alternatives

Help! I enjoy chex mix and want to make it for Christmas snacking (under control, of course!). I am curious how you make chex mix--what do you put in it? What do you do to make it healthier?

Second, when I use seasoned salt, I find LOTS of water weight gain. What could I use instead?

I make Chex mix, and have never tried to make it healthier...

Two or three of the chexish cereals - Rice Chex, Wheat Chex, Multi Grain Chex, sometimes Krispix; cheerios; cheese tidbits or cheese-its since tidbits are almost off the market now; pretzel sticks; bagel chips; worchestire (sp??) sauce; garlic; salt; margarine. I tend to use the entire boxes of cereal and all the other items in the bags, give a lot away.

I would like to try to be healthier this year - I'm mulling over some different spices like paprika, cayenne, chili powder to use instead of salt. I'll keep you posted if I try any of them.
