Does anyone watch this show and/or watch the clips on youtube?

Fair warning - the main jokes in these segments are making fun of fat people and dieting. But I find them HILARIOUS, mainly because they are so clearly parody that I find it impossible to be offended. The whole "Fat Fighters" thing appears regularly on the show - an ongoing saga of Marjorie and the fat fighters meeting she leads. Think of it like a parody of a WW meeting.

Its British humor - if you like that sort of thing, you might like these. You can youtube "Little Britain Fat Fighters" to see any number of them.

I LOVE Little Britain -- UK friends of mine introduced me to Matt and Dave a year or so ago!! They are sooooo funny (if you like that sort of thing), and Fat Fighters is one of my favorite segments. I think the reason it's so good is because Marjorie is the perfect parody of someone prejudiced against people struggling with weight loss issues. I'm giggling just thinking about those segments!!

A close second favorite is Kenny the Hypnotist, but it's a toss-up after that for Vicki, Daffyd, Lou and Andy... just great stuff all around!!

Some of the skits are a little over the top for me, but I think they're the freshest thing to come out of British comedy since Mr. Bean and Monty Python -- absolutely love 'em!!

OMG! I *HEART* this show! Own all three seasons on DVD. My partner is English, so we watch lots of British telly!

That's funny that your friend is going dressed as Anne! She's one of the stranger characters on the show for me, but LOVED it when she was on the show "Stars in their Eyes" and did her version of Celine doing My Heart Will Go On!!

He (my partner) likes to talk like Any Pipkin ("yeahahknow"), Vicky Pollard ("yeah but no but yeah but"), and Carol Beer, the travel agent/bank teller/whatever her job is ("computer says NO"). Sometimes I'll do Marjorie Dawes ("some low calorie foods: lettuce, ryvita, dussssst...", "you FAT!! oh you FAT!") or Bubbles DeVere ("call me Bubbles dahling, everyone does!")

We also have the DVD of Little Britain LIVE, the stage show they did last year that sold out every venue they played in. Absolutely hilarious!!

Did y'all know that David Walliams and Matt Lucas are developing a show for HBO to show next spring? It is supposed to be Little Britain set in America. FUNNNEEEE!
