Question Ready to get started and need some advice please

Hello Ladies. I just purchased the LA weight loss plan on ebay and was wondering if I could get some advice on how to get going on it and where to start. I am really excited about this. I have been on WeightWatchers for about 2 years off and on and have kept my initial weight loss off but am stuck here. I recently went to LA weight loss for a consultation and was impressed with their plan and also with the cost$$$$$! I couldn't afford $534.00 so I decided to look on ebay and here I am. I would really appreciate any suggestions you all could give me about where to start and what I need to do to be successful. Thank you- Kristi

KristiA: Sounds like your planning on doing the LA plan on your own. Did you pick a color plan yet? Join us on the LA Friends and Losers - June 2005 thread, it's like the community message board were most of us post. I'm already jealous of you just by reading where you live. I love the NC area, or at least every part that I've seen! DH has cousins in the Raleigh, NC area and his Mom's family grew up in Apex. We are headed to the Outerbanks in July. The only thing that I'm not jealous (at least while being OP) is that you have all those great Pork BBQ joints. I love NC BBQ with cole slaw. I'm drooling as I type. LOL! Good luck OP.

Post Thanks Sy

SY, Thanks for the reply I'm jealous over your planned trip to the beach! I just love it and don't get there as often as I would like to. NC is a beautiful state and a nice place to live. I live in Rocky Mount which is about 45 minutes NE of Raleigh .We moved here 8 years ago from Texas- I wanted to live somewhere GREEN and my husband is a golfer so this has been perfect for us. The barbecue here is no temptation for me though because when I think of barbecue, I think of Texas barbecue and they are so different!

According to the info I received, I think I should start on the purple plan. I am going to the grocery store today to get my shopping done and get started. I am thinking of using the quick start 3 day plan as well. I took your advice and joined the friends and losers board too. Any advice or suggestions you may have will be appreciated. Thanks for the encouragement!

Kristi - are you doing the LA Lites or Luna bars too? You will need to journal all you food intake to make sure you get it all in.. including 64 ounces of water....

Kristi...Fiona is on the purple plan and I think maybe Julie(when she gets back) They will give you all the help you need with that particular plan. Everyone else can help as well with other things. There may be more that are on puple too...

I'm a purple people eater (okay...only on the days I misjudge and make those choices that don't seem to give you the bulk of food....lol)

Kristi: Since you are doing this alone (or with us online), it may be a little harder for you, but hey - it's hard for all of us whether we go to WI or do it at home. I would start with the 2 day take off, I lost 8 lbs in those 2 days and it hasn't come back. Buy the Krusdsen's Morning Blend juice (2 bottles to start) found in a larger local grocery store (usually in the natural food section, then again - at 1 local store it's with the regular juice). This is just to lessen your cravings for the 'white starches' like white bread and pasta, and since your not allowed any starches those days, it really does help. Since you won't be using the LA Lites, you can use the Luna bars as the replacement for those. Much cheaper, and may even be better. Lots of ladies on here have used them and really like them. Give us your start date, and your on your way!

~Sy~

P.S. 2 weeks from tomorrow I will be in Kill Devil Hills on the Outerbanks of NC. Hope it's a sunny week with lots of heat! I'll be almost due east from Rocky Mount, so I'll be waving Hi to your once 'm in the area). LOL

Talking Looking for what you found

Kristi & friends

I also cannot spend the $$$$ it takes to go to the center. I was so depressed when I left the center after my free evaluation to find how out of reach the plan was to me. I've looked on ebay and only find the products not the actual plan. Were you lucky, or am I looking in the wrong place.

I've been struggling with 25 lbs for 7 months. It has been so frustrating to diet and exercise as much as I do, and only loose 3 lbs. We've all heard the same things, and tried the same things. The one thing that did work was atkins. I lost 9 lbs in 2 weeks. Couldn't do the complete carb free thing, and 6 lbs came back. I've gathered enough information from friends who have been on LA weight loss to do the red plan (without the lites) and that is what I'm hoping to be starting with.

I'm just reading about the 2 day take off juice plan. That sounds interesting. Wouldn't it leave you weak? Can you do it while at work, or do you end up spending the day in the bathroom?

Thanks

dd

Dear Deb,
Here is a link to the LAWL program on ebay. I hope this helps!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WDVW.

I found it by searching for LA Weight Loss in all catagories.

I am starting the 2 day Take Off tomorrow and am looking forward to the journey.

Good luck! Kristi
