Yep, Nicole, we work together, actually. Nisha's been on the program in the past and had great results, so she convinced me to give it a shot. I'm in it for the long haul now, and looking forward to being able to wear shorts again this summer!
Hope I'll be welcome here, as I don't see any guys posting.. My wife and I are dong LAWL together and I thought this would be a good place to find support. While I'm sure it will be good for her, I'm concerned that having a guy here will make some uncomfortable. If that's the case, I'm cool with that..
Just for the record.. I've lost 42 lbs. and my wife is pushing 20 lbs. since we joined in late September..
While the program has been pretty effective, both of us feel temptations creeping back in and we're having some trouble focusing on our goals...
This was the only place I found a forum dedicated to the plan, but I'll admit I didn't look all that hard after I found this place.
Dan - you and your wife are more than welcome here! One of our posters (Prazteam) posts here and follows the program, but her husband is the LAWL member.
Welcome Dan and as-yet unnamed DW (dear wife - seems so strange typing that). We're not uncomfortable if you're not. Look forward to getting to know you.
Dan--welcome to both you and your wife. Congrats on your losses. My DH also did the program and lost about 40 pounds (232 to 195ish) and is maintaining great. Of course you are welcome and I think you'll love this site and all these great gals. Hope you are not easily offended though--we talk about EVERYTHING under the sun!!

Don't worry about offending... I'm in the PR business and used to be in the media.. I've heard it all .. lol..
Welcome to Lisa and Dan, and soon Dan's DW!!! We are always happy to have new members, and it will be kind of fun to have a male point of view. Congrats to all three of you on your losses. Hi, my name is Paula and I am a LAWL slacker. Really...I lost 30 lbs. about two years ago, but in the last year have let it creep back up on me. So, I'm back on plan, with my DH too. This will be his first time dieting EVER. We have been married 23 years and have two children (17 & 22). I am really looking forward to the support and advice on the forum.
