Good morning,

I'm really considering quiting my p/t job at the restaurant. I've continued to lose weight but it's getting harder each week to pass up the food. I try to stick with veggies but the cook puts sugar in his veggies and I don't like that. I usually have 1 day that I do bad and eat off but then it takes me a couple of days to get back on track, that's not good.

I actually went on an interview and got the job, I just need to ask a few questions today to determine if my vacation plans will hinder me excepting the job. I really need to work until our vacation in November. I've been upset with the owners at the restaurant because they went back on their word to me and I'm really having a hard time dealing with them now. I feel a persons word is their pond and if I can't trust you on something small than I don't want to work for you all, I've been committed and they have not had to concern themselves with me the entire time I've been there. The other girls complain amongst themselves all the time but does nothing to change their situation, I'm not that type of person. So I'm having this delima this morning. Well, time will tell for me today after I speak with the HR dept.

Just venting......Anyway, I have several meeting so I don't know if I'll check back in today, if not, I'll write tomorrow.

Good morning Ladies....Well I had a wonderful time shopping with my girlfriends last night. I got two new outfits for work. We got some good deals at Kohls becuase it was their grand opening. But I did horrible with my eating. We shopped until 10pm and I had nooooo dinner...I had and apple before shopping...that was it. Well I had to take my one friend home after shopping but she needed to stop by store for bread and milk....well....we got in the store and the frist thing we see is halloween candy....we were both starving....so....we got a bag of candy corn...and let me tell you we ate the whole bag before we got out of store...I paid for an empty bag. Now you know that is horrible...*smile* But ohhh soooo good. You know me and my sweet tooth. Then I bought a bag of baby carrots and munched on them on my drive home. Boy...let me tell you I felt sick from all the sugar and the carrots. Us girls need to plan a little better like started with dinner first...but you know how that all goes...*smile*

Kim....You can vent anytime...that is what we are here for...support!! So did you get a new P/T or F/T job?? How exciting! I have been doing my job for 6yrs...I am kinda scared to leave. I am happy where I am though actually. I work in a very small office which is quite nice. Hope things work out after you talk to the HR.

Well gotta get some work done this morning...will check back in later.

Hey Tab,

thought I would check back in before going to a meeting that will probably last the rest of my day and then some. I called my p/t job and told them I might not be in at all this evening. I really don't like doing that, I want to be faithful until the end.

I love candy corn so I don't buy them at all. My DH is not a big junk eater, only if he has a taste for it, then he goes crazy. I'm sure you were sick, candy corn and carrots, they just don't sound like a good mixture. Fantastic on the 2 new outfits, I like Kohls, I could shop in there for hours. I've gotten a couple of our bedroom linen & accessories from there. It's a one stop shopping place.

Well, I'm not looking forward to this meeting but I have no choice so I'm trying to prepare my mind. The Director wasn't real happy when I told her I couldn't attend the meeting on Friday and speak intelligently on someone elses work. She said that was not acceptable and that we would go over every single line that he's done. That about 6 legal pages of work! I'm tired already.

So far so good today eating wise, I'm almost happy that I'm not going to work tonight, I know I won't mess up at home, there's nothing there to mess up with.

Until tomorrow....

Good Morning Ladies...

Just a quick post to say hello. Things have been going well. I have been OP ever since I messed up with the candy corn. It has been really really hard to because it is pre TOM for me and I seem to be soooo hungry. I think I crave more food during this time. Not necessarily the bad foods I just crave more food.

I forgot to tell you about a new Luna Bar flavored. I eat the Luna Bars instead of the LA Lites much much cheaper....but anyhow...they have a new one called Caramel Apple...man it is sooooo good. Perfect timing with Halloween and all. Cause I have been craving a caramel apple...since I see them everytime I go in the grocery store. I found the caramel apple at GNC...which GNC charges more for their bars...I usually buy at Walmart...but let me tell you it was worth the money. And I plan to buy a few more.

Kim...Yes..I love kohls too. I got out of their with "just" two outfits. Since I am a petite they have a good selection but I don't care for some of their pants....I prefer "Petite Sophisticate" they have nice pants...jsut a little pricey...but they last for a couple of seasons as long as I don't grow out of them...*smile* My girlfriend who is moving to NC spent over $600 that night we were there. She bought all kinds of stuff for her new home and some clothes for her new job that she will start. And my other friend spent over $200...so I feel as if I got out of there cheap...compared to them...*smile* I would have spent more if they had the shoes I wanted in my size...but no luck...But I am meeting my friend on Saturday and we are going to Hechts to use our bonus coupons...sooo I might get some shoes.

Oh well I hope everyone has a great day and I will check back in later...

Good morning ladies,

I hope everyone is doing well. It's been so busy at work that I haven't had time to write.

Tab-Happy Anniversary! Have a great time in Las Vegas, which I know you will. I wish my hubby and I would have saved our cake for the 1 year anniversary but it was so good that he said he wasn't waiting a year, we could have another one made. That was so unusal for him, he doesn't like cake w/icing or for that matter cake at all. I can count the times he's had cake since we've been married (6 yrs). Anyway, I believe if it was properly sealed it will be OK.

Diane-How are you doing? It's been a while since we've heard from you or either I've been missing in action. I hope all is well.

I'm getting so burned out at work, I really need a vacation now. I'm just trying to hold out, I know it's not as long as it has been but when you haven't had a vacation all year a little over a month seams like forever.

Oh well, I know that time is going to come and go so fast but usually around the holiday time, most people take off and I have a few extra days between now and then. My old supervisor, whom I have kept in touch with and become good friends with is going to New Orleans in January. She asked me to come along with her and I'm really considering, I would love to see New Orleans, I've never been. The timing is just off, I need something more closer to the weekend so I don't have to take so many days off. I don't mind but I'm expecting a new supervisor this Monday. I'll meet her on Tuesday, I'm off on Monday.

Anyway, until later ladies, have a great day!

Well, I though I'd better post before the thread gets lost over the weekend. I hope all is well with everyone. I haven't worked out for 2 days, I've just been so tired that I decided to give it a break. Hopefully, next week, I'll start back in the afternoons. I'm not an afternoon person but until my schedule changes I'll have to do what is necessary to make sure I'm getting it in. Right now, my days begin at 4AM and ends at 10PM, and I'm worn out becuase of it.

I'm usually to busy to post on the weekends so I guess I'll write on Tuesday. That's right, I'm off on Monday, what a great day that will be. Until later, have a great weekend!!

Well,

Where is everyone!!

Are we all missing in action or what

Anyway, I had a lovely day off yesterday, I really didn't do what I wanted to do (clean out my closet) but I did get some much needed rest and DH & I went out to dinner last night. I did OK, could have done better but today starts a new day and so far so good.

Tab-We got our cruise package in the mail on Friday, you know I could have read it from cover to cover. I was so excited, I'm still reading some of the information. I'm sure it's different from the last time you went, they have on-line forms that I need to fill out before our departure. All of this is stemming from the 9/11 tragedy, anyway, I don't mind better safe than sorry.

I'll try to write tomorrow, I'm trying to keep us alive but I need help while tab is way. Someone help me out!!!

Have a great day

Good day to all!

It's been busy at work and home so I haven't had time to post.

Good to see Diane & ad4now are still hanging in there. I know it can be hard at times.

I hope Tab had a great time on her anniversary. She must be really busy at work, I thought she may be back by now.

Anyway, I'm not going to be long, just wanted to check in and say I'm still here and hope everyone had a great weekend.
