I am also going to go back to Phase I. The past week I have not stuck to the plan, I haven't gone over board but it's still a miracle I haven't gained any wieght back. I definitely need to get back into my work outs. I have only worked out 4 times in the past two weeks.

Welcome Mary Ellen and NCSmasher!
I had a great workout on the bowflex this morning:) I was pretty surprised that I gained weight after going off EFS, I am like it takes 3500 calories to make a pound, there is absoultely NO WAY I ate that much a day. I just figured what I orginally lost in the beginning was not fat to begin with. I think I gained back 1-2 pounds. Hope everyone is having a wonderful day!!!!! Keep up the great work!!!!!!!!! |
Hey......what happened to all the activity on this thread?

I'm new to FS and to this site. I'm a former Atkins loser and this plan has taught me the true meaning of patience. With my former lifestyle, I could easily drop 4-6 pounds in a week! This plan has me working out way more and eating super healthy but eecking out only 1-2 pounds a week. I am really dissappointed in the progress but I keep telling myself that the slower rate of loss will ensure a more permanent loss and THAT is what is most important to me! My MIL bought me the 4-day diet yesterday and I plan to get going with that probably later this week. I need to check to make sure I have the right foods. I'm really trying not to be a brat about my weight loss, this is also a new mental way of weight loss for me as well I guess :(

I'm new to this site. I have been doing the EFS diet now for a week and have lost 6 lbs so far. There are certain days that I am really hungry, but all in all, I am perfectly fine during the day. I would say that this diet rocks, even though it's hard to believe that I'm losing weight eating cups of rice everyday. Who knew?

6 lbs. in 1 week is great. You're definitely off to a good start. I'm also doing EFS. I started 6 weeks ago and have lost 10 lbs. Recently I've found it difficult to exercise as I'm usually tired when I get home from work. Also, I'm nibbling here and there and while I don't think I'm going overboard....I know it's helping. I just need to get myself back on track with the dedication I had when I first started.

Deishue you lost 4-6 pounds a week with atkins that's great and for sure the patience because I'm a carb lover :) |

Has anyone tried FS for a small amount of weight loss? I've been stuck at my current weight forever after dropping 12 pounds and am looking for something to force me off my plateau.

It really works. Good luck to you. On another note, I've tried the EFS and lost 6 lbs in 1 week. it was tough, but my energy increased, soreness increased, and I forced myself to make time for exercising, pre-panned meals per day/week and it paid off. I also lost inches which is great. it takes motivation and sadly I fell off the bandwagon and now back to transform my lifestyle. |
