need help with my diet....
alright.... i was on a 2 month leaning diet that went like this:
Meal 1 (pre workout): 1/2 cup dry oatmeal (equals 1 cup once i put water and microwave it)+ 40 grams protein (shake)
Meal 2 (post workout): piece of fruit+40 grams protein (shake)
Meal 3: 8 oz of chicken/fish/turkey+ 1/3 cup of nuts
Meal 4: 12 oz of chicken/fish/turkey+ 3 cups green veggies
Meal 5: 6-8 oz of chicken/fish/turkey+ 3 cups green veggies
It worked really good, i was at 16.7 percent body fat when i started and now i'm at 9.4, but the thing i don't like about it is that i'm not as "stalky" now, so i want to bulk back up in my chest/shoulder/arm areas, but i don't want to gain anymore fat either by carb loading... so i was thinking about going 50-50 by replacing meal 3,4 and 5 like this....
meal 3: 8 oz chicken/fish/turkey+ 1 1/2 cups of starchy carbs
meal 4: chicken/fish/turkey+ 1/3 cup nuts
meal 5: Chicken/fish/turkey+ 3 cups green veggies
all i did was take away 1 of my carb depleting meals, and added a carb meal, that way i have 3 carb meals, 1 fat, and 1 veggie......
does this sound like it might work? let me know...i really need all the advice i can get...
