Does anyone know where the best deal is on Alli right now? Thank you for your help.

I've been on ALLI for 2 weeks and have lost 2 lbs (so a pound a week). I work out and diet EVERYDAY anyway, so I have no idea if ALLI is helping or not. I have had NO side effects because I watch what I eat all the time.

Ok I think I'm healed up enough now to get back on program again. I thought I'd be out of the gym for only a day or 2 but it took a bit longer. Also since I wasn't able to chew to good I was stuck with soft foods like lots of pastas and soups. I still can't have anything to hard, crunchy, or super chewy but I'm healed up enough to go back to my eating plan now. I'll have to bump up my weight ticker :( I've definately gained some back already. I havn't been taking Alli this past week since I wasn't able to stay on plan so I'll have to start that up again too. Ugh! This stinks! I really hope that I last a little longer before somthing else comes along and screws up things again. What's with my luck lately? Geez! ...Sorry everyone just venting!

I am still looking for a DEAL on it. Around Christmas they were buy one, get one all over the place--available in these double pack things. I wasn't taking it at the time so I didn't get any. With my doctor's help, I am going to start using them again. He actually was going to prescribe Xenical again but it is far cheaper to go the Alli route.

Around christmas when they had that sale i picked up like 4 bottles (2 were free) so I'm about 1/2 way through my stash and havn't needed to look for sales yet but I suppose I should start keeping an eye out now before I run out. If I see anything I'll let you all know!

Actually I just found somthing, it looks like ebay has a lot of alli up for sale and some of it looks like it's cheaper then any of the stores, also with free shipping. Somthing to check out I think. :)

Gross question, if you are careful about your fat intake do you still get the orange goo in your toilet? I tried Alli once before but I don't think I was being good enough about fat. I didn't have any TE problems but there was always hard to clean orange oil in the potty and well... ew.

I still have most of a bottle and I was thinking about taking it again but I want to avoid the mess. I am already doing a low fat diet I just wouldn't mind a little extra help.

prinny, you should read your free pamphlets that came with your Alli..if you don't have them, log onto their website..

to answer your question, your side effects should be minimal if you are following the Alli plan..

Alli has very much helped me..when I compare the minimal side effects I have encountered with my life as a fat woman...crap, there is no freaking comparison!

Wait you can log on to the Alli site without buying the starter kit??? I always thought you had to enter the code that came in one of the books to get into the site? I could be wrong though I signed up a while ago. As for the orange goo, I noticed that if I reached my target goal for fat grams in a meal I might get a few drops but nothing major. My fat gram target per meal is 19 grams so if I had say 17 or 18 I got nothing. Even at 19 though it's nothing bad or even annoying to be honest, it just lets me know that I can't go over that target so it's all good.

And I totally agree with Thighs Be Gone! This is SO totally worth it compared to staying at this weight and feeling miserable all the time! I'd take this any day! :)

~~In one of my last posts I said I needed to adjust my weight ticker up since I though for sure I had gained weight in the last week and a half but it turns out that I'm down a pound instead. I'm still not going to change the weight ticker though just in case it's not accurate. I'll wait for next Saturday to officially weigh-in again.~~

You can actually go on the Alli site and read plenty, plenty of information to get you going even if you don't have a starter kit. You can also call Alli (contact info. is there) and they will mail starter info. to you. She states she has purchased the Alli. Maybe she still has the accompanying info. that is included in the package.

I am going to jump in on this band wagon...I am going to pick up a bottle tonight. I found a $10 coupon on the Alli website for a starter bottle and since reading all of these good reviews....

...hope this works for me too!

Though this is a weight loss support thread, people can still be concerned about what others are doing. They want to make sure they know what they're putting in their bodies and what could happen as a result.

I'm not trying to start an argument, but we're all looking out for each other while losing weight, and Cassidy was just showing concern and pointing out things that she wasn't sure about with Alli. I haven't looked up information myself, but even though she may have missed a few concepts of Alli, doesn't mean we need to get angry over it.

We're all in this weight-loss journey together. ;)
