new with questions....

  • Good morning all!! I am new to the site,and found it while googling la weightloss......I must say i love it! you guys are such great help, i have been trying to do the la diet...by myself.... (not a member as it would cost close to 1500 here....way too expensive!!!)
    just from reading your posts i think i might be on to something!!! i weighted 159.lbs 1 & 1/2 weeks ago and am now down to 153.!!!!! yeah for me!!!!!
    i do have a question tho....well i have many...but 1 for now..
    what are the condiments that are free....ketchup??? how much?
    and some other everyday ones.

  • This is from the Gold Plan Book - I just want to stress that yes they are free, but in specific quantities and you can only do 3 a day. For example, if you have 2 salads with dressing, you are down to 1 condiment left for the day.


    Condiments (up to 3 per day)

    Baking Power - 1 tsp
    Baking Soda - 1 tsp
    Barbeque Sauce - 1Tbsp
    Broth, very low-sodium or low-sodium - 1/2 cup
    Capers - 1 Tbsp
    Chocolate syrup, light - 1 Tbsp
    Cocktail Sauce - 1 Tbsp
    Coffee Mate Liquid Creamer any flavor, fat-free - 1 Tbsp
    Coffee Mate Powdered Creamer any flavor, fat-free - 1 tsp
    Cool Whip, fat-free - 1 Tbsp
    Cornstarch - 1 tsp
    Cream Cheese, fat-free - 1 Tbsp
    Flavor Extracts - 1 Tbsp
    Flour, any type - 1 Tbsp
    Gelatin, sugar-free - 1/2 cup
    Goya Adobo Light - 1/4 tsp
    Half & Half, fat free - 1 Tbsp
    Honey - 1 tsp
    Horseradish - 1 Tbsp
    I Can't Believe It's Not Butter Spray - 5 Sprays
    Jalapeno Peppers, chopped - 1/4 cup
    Jelly or Jam, sugar-free - 1 Tbsp
    Jelly or Jam, regular - - 1 tsp
    Ketchup - 1 Tbsp
    Maple Syrup, light or sugar-free - 1 Tbsp
    Mustard - 1 Tbsp
    Parmasan Cheese - 1 tsp
    Salad Dressing, fat-free any variety <175mg soduim per Tbsp - 1 Tbsp
    Salsa - 1 Tbsp
    Sour Cream, light or fat-free - 1 Tbsp
    Soy Sauce, low sodium - 1 Tbsp
    Sugar, regular, white or brown - 1 tsp
    Teriyaki Sauce, low-sodium - 1 Tbsp
    Tzatziki - 1 Tbsp
    Vinegar - 1 Tbsp

    In addition to 3 condiments per day, you may use:
    Artificial Sweetner - up to 3 packets per day
    Sugarless gum - up to 3 pieces per day
    Sugarless candy - up to 3 pieces per day
