Question Centers Closing - why fill out refund request?!?

Hi, everyone!

I see that another batch of centers are closing - and everyone is clamoring to get their Lites and fill out refund requests.

Definitely get your Lites ASAP. Centers closed down here in Ohio in early January. It took one person picking up their remaining bulk Lites to leave the rest of us with nothing at all. At that point no shipments were coming in. All the centers in the area were cleaned out the first day they told their clients about the closing. Unless you wanted something like Eliminate. They had tons of that because not everyone can take it!

But what about the refund request? I filled mine out and sent it in right away in early January. It's supposed to take "up to 8 weeks" to arrive, but no refund so far. Nor have I received a letter from them saying "sorry no refund for you." I did as everyone suggested and sent it certified mail. So I know for a fact that they received it before corporate totally closed its doors.

So I'm basically wondering.....why even bother filling out a refund request? Has ANYONE ever received a refund since this close-down process began?

I am working on my paperwork with the Pennsylvania attorney general, but have little faith of seeing anything at this point.

Just curious!

They filed for bankruptcy, which means that their vendors will get paid before their clients ever see a dime. No one is going to get anything back, IMHO.

Well heck we just found out our center is closing the end of the month and we were told we could write a request letter for a refund if we used our care credit card and in 4-6 weeks it would be refunded. Did you pay cash or by credit card? I have lots of lites left and my friend she has even more than I do so if we have no hope of getting our money back we will definately be trying to get our lites

Nascar
Do you know who owned your center? Was it run by the corporate offices of LA or was it a franchise?

I did not file anything with the center but filed a dispute with CareCredit and after so many months they credited everything back to my card. I was surprised but thrilled.

Where do you write to get a refund? I can't stand paying off CareCredit each month!

I pay on the website and they have information for disputes. I printed out my statements, filled in the sheets and mailed it in. I had to make no payments until it was settled and after months I received the letter that they credited back all my money.

Were these franchise stores, or corporate? My center tells me not to worry because they are a corporate owned center...
