Smile Plan suggestions for my DH???

My hubby told me yesterday he needed a favor so I said ok shoot, he patted his tummy and said help me get rid of this! LOL He's 6' weighs around 190 I guess and wants to lose probably 10-15 pounds. So I need help figuring out how much food he needs in a day because if he follows mine hes going to starve! So put your thinking caps on boys and girls! Thanks for the help!

Some background info, when we married he was 140 pounds so carrying extra weight is something new to him so its starting to bother him.

Well, not being familiar with the current plan options, I don't know if I can accurately give you advice, but if he eats the same things you're eating, cuts down (or out) the salt, sodas, chips and fried stuff, 10 or 15 lbs. will come off like a shot...

The sad truth for women is that guys can dump weight a LOT faster than y'all... Give him a month or two, and 15 lbs will be gone..

BUT... HE HAS TO BE CONSISTANT!!!! Just like with us on the plan, if he deviates or cheats, it won't be nearly as effective...

I pack his lunch and cook dinner so he should be able to do this. I think his main problem is the snacking before bed. Hes always been able to eat whatever he wanted so this trying to lose weight is a new concept for him! LOL Thanks for chiming in Dan!

Kim~
Congratulations on your weight loss! And congratulations on being a good example to your husband! I'm sure he's been able to see the positive changes in your body, and now he wants some of it! Great job!

I would venture to guess that he would be on Red with lites. The breakdown is:
2.5 Proteins
4 Veggies
3 Fruits
3 Starches
1 Dairy
1 Fat
2 LA Lites
3 Condiments
1/4 Tsp. Morton Lite Salt
64 oz Water
If he does not want to do bars, then you add one fruit and one dairy

You did the old color plans, right Kim? I may have the info for the numbered plans.........if you want that info, PM me your email address
XOXO
