I just found out Brett Favre is retiring!! For anyone who doesn't know or has forgotten I am the biggest Cheesehead and Packers Fan in Canada.
Now I am going to have to go to Dairy Queen and get a blizzard.

I will be sequestered and in mourning so all of you keep up the POP !

I was going to mention it when I saw you post in the Friends and Losers thread yesterday but I decided I didn’t want to ruin your day. Sorry! Maybe he’ll change his mind like he did a few years ago. There’s always hope until the season actually starts, right?

That's what my husband has been trying to tell me as I slink about the house, wearing all black and taking a vow of silence.. it's a snowstorm here or I'd be at Dairy Queen :devil:

Kristen-I thought about you last night when I heard the news. Does it feel like losing a loved one? LOL

I kind of felt like that when Peyton Manning graduated from UT, at least I still get to watch him play though!

Oh, my dear Kristen.......I knew you would be in mourning. I had visions of finding a cute picture of Brett and changing my avatar to it....for you :) I was so busy yesterday that I didn't even get a chance to sign on here all day....which is quite odd for me. We had a snow day yesterday, and another one today. We are having some crazy weather.......on Sunday it was 78 degreees.......and yesterday........kablam.......12 inches of snow. I think we got all this snow in memory of Brett Favre's super fab football career. Can I also blame this sadness for the two sugar cookies I just had for breakfast???? :lol:

Kristen, DO NOT GO NEAR THAT DAIRY QUEEN, DO NOT GO NEAR THAT DAIRY QUEEN! He's retiring as the best ever, might as well go out on top. If you're going to mourn, at least sit shiva with deep fried turkey. :turkey:

Okay, I'm way too delirious, then again my Giant championship t-shirt wall was supposed to come down 3 weeks ago and it's still up. Store manager, himself a die-hard fan, asked if I was leaving it up simply to annoy the **** out of every Jet fan shopping in store. :dizzy:

MMMM I love cheese. I like a Gouda or nice Brie. I have never tried a "Favre" but what ever floats your boat!
