perfect, thanks so much for the great recipe, I'll try it tonight!! I got a chia-herb garden for Christmas so that i could grow some herbs for my drinks, so i will have plenty of fresh cilantro, parsley, chives and corriander on hand soon
weighed in today, another pound gone woohooo. However I do realize that If I am to lose another 5# this month, i have to get my butt in gear. I've been doing the juicing, but I've also had some treats this week, and wasnt even expecting a one pound weight loss. I realize that if i werent substituting the juicing for some of my meals, I would have gained this week, so one pound is a very exciting accomplishment for me.
I just weighed myself today, I've lost another 2pounds, making this a grand total of 7# since Jan 5. Im feeling great, full of energy....owe it all to my new juicing regime!!!
well i reached my 10# goal for january..woohoo..
I am back to work now so i dont get to check as often as i'd like. I will post some recipes that i've tried later.
OK..so i brought my hamilton beach juicer back, it was junk. I was getting the liquid in with the pulp, and it was leaking. I guess it's true, you get what you paid for. I invested in a Beaumark whole fruit juice extractor. I did pay $150 with taxes for it, but it yields twice as much fruit as the other one, and took less than half the time because I dont have to cut up the fruits and veggies anymore. I did an orange, 2 apples, 2 BIG carrots, a hand full of fresh green beans and a piece of cabbage this morning, and that gave me more than 2 cups of juice. I mix that about 2:1 ratio with water, and it lasts me almost the whole day. I feel so energetic it's amazing. My skin is glowing, my bowels are moving regularly (I have IBS and can go sometimes a week without having a bowel movement). I'm less bloated, and feel TERRIFIC!!!
