LAWL Missing Persons Report
 

Hi, I'm missing a few people lately, so thought I'd start a thread for our missing persons. I think we need a protocol, like if you don't check in within X number of days, we shout out for you, then we put Joni on the case if we don't hear back in 24 hours of the shout.

Currently I'm missing UK Sarah, and my weightloss buddy, Libby!

Joni -- Have you had corroborating reports from other sources that these two ladies have not checked in for quite a while?

We will all miss you Joni and we will all come looking for you.

Joni -- If you go missing we'll be in BIG trouble. I think that Nicole would have to be your back up, she's got potential to fill in for you!

Today I'm also missing Cassi and Kristen!

Kristi, Pearl, or how about some oldies? I really miss Carmen, Beanie, Star, Julie, and Sy. Does anyone else here remember any of them?

Katie - How about Mary ? I loved reading her posts - funny and always full of a lot of info - I wonder how she is doing with the babies !

You know, she popped in and said hello recently. She said that she was starting back on LAWL, but she only posted a couple of times. I would imagine that her life is insane right now. I loved her posts too, witty and funny. Also, do you remember Shennie?

Hey Angie, I'm here. I've been lurking off and on but in a little funk lately. Actually put my acct. on hold with the COD for 2 weeks so I didn't use up my weeks while I got my head back together.

I've been meaning to do a big list of personals on the regular thread when I get some time. I really miss everyone and have noticed there has been a lot of news and newbies.

Anyway, I am still in plateau mode but this time it is my fault. It seems like every time I hit 182 I go crazy and eat off plan. Friday I met a girlfriend of mine for a matinee and ate a tub of movie popcorn then followed it with happy hour (3 Grey Goose and cranberries) ARH!!! Why do I do it???

However, I decided to rededicate myself to staying POP as of Moday and I've been a very good girl so far. I am back to the COD as of yesterday. Now if I could just get into the 170s I would be a very happy, motivated camper.

Thanks for thinkin of me. I'll try not to drift so far off again.

Hey Libby! I'm glad to see you're still out there. I'd been having cheating problems too, but I think (hope) I have it under control now. I have a number I can't seem to get past too, but I'm hoping to finally beat it in the next week or so.

Yes, what about some of the others. Debster disappeared after posting all those yummy new recipes!

I am around some too - it's just so busy on the board, that I never have time to catch up with everyone. I do a drive-by once or twice a week. I remember Shennie - she was a huge help when I started!

I've been lurking a bit, too. I'm not doing LA anymore, I've been calorie counting and doing pretty well. I'm only 6 pounds from my goal, yippee!

Oh and today I went to Costco and they had these low-rise Levi's for $16.99. The only short I could find was a Junior size 9 and I had no idea if they would fit since I haven't shopped in the Junior's section in forever. Well, I got them home and they fit perfectly! Woohoo! They are super low-rise, though, so I feel like a teenager. I can't believe they're a single-digit size! Thanks for letting me share, I've been dancing around the house all afternoon!

I thought I was gonna get some time to play with you guys but plans changed--gotta go pick peaches with my dad--fun. We took my 7 year old to my sisters today for a few days, the 10 year old will go to her other Grandmas on Sunday and I will head home for 2 whole child-free weeks--weird to even think about--but hey have so much fun I can't say no--I will admit that I look forward to no bickering--ahhhh.

Sounds like everyone is doing great--still POP around here--which is a long time for me! I've only dropped 3+ but my mom has dropped 6+--Yeah mom!

We did go on a 4 day holiday with the family from England.. 16 of us at a hotel.. we took over the place.. I did okay with eating but those cocktails have done a super number on my bod.. can you say bloating, swollen and lashing myself with a wet noodle! Lots of grapefruit and chicken ahead for this gal!

Will be back for a proper posting later.. I dont' recognize half of the names on the Losers thread so glad I found you other oldies in here!

Good question about the ornament exchange, Cassie! We still have a couple of months. Are you volunteering for the job? I am still hoping that things will settle down enough for me that I can check in more than once a week. Just keeping up with all the new faces is a full-time job! ;)

Hey everyone I pop in and try to catch up every now and then but now that life has slowed down a little bit I hope to get back to my daily check in I miss it! I plan on going to the center tomorrow and WI. I need to get back on plan. It is so easy to fall off and I have a few times now. Oh I will do it tomorrow ect you know the drill.

I graduated May 4th and will be teaching Kindergarten this fall so I have been working on all of that so far this summer. I have noticed today however that my right knee has been bothering me a little bit. It could be nothing but just in case (and it probably is) it is the weight then I can fix that by changing my habits. Not to mention that I need to set a good example for my students. So I got out my cookbooks tonight and plan on sitting down tomorrow to PLAN!

I also can not find my red plan book i know i just saw it last week. I will find it in the morning or get a new one!

Ok, so I now am going to attempt to play catch up. I realize most of what I am going to address is old news, but I just missed you guys so much.

First of all, Tina…..I love your new avatar. You are adorable.

Lori…….just checked out your before and after pics…….all I can say is,, ‘WOW.” It is great to see you.

Kristi……..how exciting to wear a size 9 in levi’s. congratulations. That is a huge accomplishment, and I, too, would be dancing around the house all afternoon. You ought to go OUT dancing in them to celebrate.

Holy crap, Lea Ann……two child free weeks. What on earth are you going to do for two weeks without your kids? I hope you can find a way to enjoy it some. If you can continue remembering how much fun they are having, then you ought to be ok.

Kristen……..my family takes over a hotel everywhere we go. How fun to go somewhere fun with out of town company. That is a fab idea, and maybe I should try that this week when company arrives.

Hey Britt, congrats on graduating, and your new job in the fall. Isn’t it so hard to concentrate on WL when there are super exciting things going on in your life? I am terrible at that kind of multi-tasking. You know, kind of like trying to talk on the cell phone while grocery shopping for LAWL friendly foods? LOL.

Katie…..I am ok. I have not been on plan, but I didn’t murder my mother in law(the overstayer) , so I consider everything all good. LOL.

Nicole - overstayer!!! LOL LOL LOL! I truly feel your pain! CAMIL keeps dropping hints that she would "love" to be able to come to the Outer Banks with us and DH's sisters in July... she says she could babysit... yada yada... We all just look away or pretend we didn't hear her. I told DH that if she comes on vacation, I am so not going. I'd rather sleep on a lounge chair in my yard than spend 2 weeks (or 1/2 day!) at the beach with her!
