Exclamation Newbie & already sabotaging myself :(

Hello!

I am Carrie (21 and live in Portland, OR). I started LAWL a little over a week ago, and Im not doing well AT ALL. I can have a perfect breakfast and lunch (with the exception of it being a fozen food all the time) but I have a really hard time with dinner. This last weekend was horrible for me. I went out to a resort to go swimming with my DF and his sister. We ended up grilling cheeseburgers, and I ate SO MUCH potato chips, and not nearly enough water
Then to top it all off yesterday (Sunday) my DF and I decided to get Chevys and I got the crispy flautas with extra refried beans and tortillas. YIKES!
No wonder I'm up almost 3 pounds this morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today is a new day, and I'm DETERMINED to be POP the rest of the week!

Do you think I should to a TO week FF or whatever its called? Maybe kick start my butt again. I didn't loss ANYTHING the first time I did TO.

WHAT DO I DO!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!

well I have only been on the program a very short time this is week 2 for me. However I am going to say if you a do a TO it will help your body get back on track and you will lose the craving for those things and rid your body of all that extra water you gained etc etc. I would do it!

Good Luck! You need to put this weekend behind you and and move forward and think postive on getting back on track!

Wait a while before you do a TO or FF.... You're so new to the program that you may not get good results from it...

The best thing you can do is exert some will power when you go out.. Or, go out less.. That's how Liz and I stick to the plan...

It's very easy to fall off the wagon early on, and once you do, it then becomes easy to stay off the plan...

In these early stages, it's CRITICAL to stay on plan.. You have to will yourself sometimes, but you'll see a payoff, I promise!!

Also.. Take some time to relax.. Find out when and where my buddy Lewi Longmire is playing in Portland this week and go enjoy some good bluegrass/country music!!!

I'm pretty new to LAWL - started with a center in Jan. lasted about 2 months. I just started doing it on my own - with a few attempts in the last few months.

Every time I've started I've done TO or FF - they've never created great results for me. So this time I just started in on plan - trying to get all my starches in before 3pm. And keeping my butt moving as much as possible. I started on Friday - the scale has dropped 5 lbs.
**It's a loss, but I never take big drops in the scale like that seriously - until it stays a loss for a week or so, then I believe it.

Hang in there Carrie...try planning out tomorrow's menu tonight, and start with what you'll have for dinner, so you can balance the rest of your exchanges throughout the day. If you've got what you're going to eat already written down, it'll be easier to stick to your plan...just look to the book to see what's for each meal!
