OK this thread has prompted me to up the ante. My goal for this week is to hit my 10 lb mark by Saturday. That's a little under 3 lbs. I want to see my butterfly move! To hit my goal I will bump up my exercise. I will walk twice to 3 times a day at work(10-20 minute walks), and I will hit water aerobics on Monday and Wednesday. For the food part, salt out for one week (pray for me Dan), and I will have only the fake meat since it's no fat. When I get a craving I'm going to get up and move around to get my mind off food. Any other suggestions to hit my goal?

I was kinda bad food wise this weekend but went for a 2 hour hike on sat and lost 2 lbs since friday..... and drink, drink, drink!

Coop- You are not alone. It sucks to be in the "slow loser brigade". All I can tell you is keep your eye on the prize. It sickens me too, that I paid someone to help me lose a little over 1lb a week. Not to mention, eat those nasty LA Lite bars. I am trying to see this as a learing experience...if nothing at all. I am learning that I need to eat most of my food from 6 AM-7 PM...not the other way around. (I have a newborn and a toddler who doesn't stay in her bed throughout the night, yet.) It's 9:30 right now and I could really sink my teeth into some ice cream...oh well, I'm off subject. Coop, keep your head up, work your plan and de-stress. Now, I will destres with some tea. whohooo I apparently burned off some calories with all my b****ing and moaning because I lost about 4 more pounds this last few days....bringing my grand total up to 10.2# lost in 4 weeks--yay! Right on track!!!
Thanks to all for the encouragement and support!!!! Question on the veggieburgers etc---what brand is best and are they high in sodium?? |
