YAY!!! I finally broke my plateau! I've been playing back and forth between 188.8 and 190 for about a month now, despite going to the gym four or five times per week and remaining on program (for the most part). I was getting very frustrated and by Friday night, had hit the wall. The counsellor told me to go home and relax for the weekend. I did, and actually went off program - not too severely, but enough to shake up my metabolism obviously!
When I went to get weighed in on Monday I was back up to 190. Today I went in, after three days of being perfectly on program, and I was at 187.8!!! I finally got below 188!

What this has done for me mentally is huge! She told me that I'm 1 lb away from the gold plan, and she figures I'll be there by the end of the week. Not sure I'm keen on losing a veggie serving, but hey, I'll get them back when I'm at my goal! It will be so worth it.
