It seems to be what most people do regularly, so I don't see how it could be bad. I've never read the book, but I count calories and eat healthier foods (whole grains, fruits, lean meats, lean dairy, etc.), and like I said, I try to eat about every 2-3 hours. I can't say I've had luck with that exact plan since I never read the book, but I have had a lot of luck with the eating healthy foods frequently within my calorie range Oh, and exercising, too
