Last night- Body Pump class, 60 min Kickboxing class, 60 min.

Today - day off! Love Thursdays!

I have tendonitis on in my right wrist, down the pinkie side. There are some weight moves I can't do, but I am still doing the others, by golly!

Joni135 01-12-2007 09:00 AM

Thursday - 30 minutes treadmill

Friday, Jan 12 Boot Camp - 5:15 AM to 6:15 AM
10 minutes upper body

Emmysmom - I had not heard of the Fluidity Bar so I checked out their website. Pretty cool. I'd have to find someone selling it cheap, though, if I want to add to my growing collection of home gym products. Looks like it costs $200 on their site. Keep on dancin!!

Kim - hope your wrist is feeling better. Tendonitis isn't fun.

Kimphin 01-12-2007 09:20 AM

20 min Pilates, 30 min weights, 20 min treadmill

Joni - thanks, I've got a brace on it and it feels pretty good today. Who says exercise is good for you!?!

Joni -what was the consensus on Boot Camp?

kicker_RN 01-14-2007 02:35 PM

53 min on the exercise bike.
I just found a neat site -www. fitpod.com that has exercise tracks set to beats per minute. It really makes a difference for me when I am riding the bike.:bike2:

Barb
- thanks for the fitpod link...very interesting and it's free???

Barb316 01-15-2007 10:10 AM

Because of the snow that we got today I did not go in early to work to workout. I ended up driving to work instead :( Tomorrow I will workout. I am going to get a workout today when I go home and shovel :)

kicker_RN 01-15-2007 11:25 AM

Yes fitpod is free! My son had me checking out podcasts then we stumbled upon fitpod. I have a mp3 player and didn't realize I could make folders for my workout sections. I am now going to go through my own music and check out the beats per minute and make workout sessions with my own music too!!!

HI Guys, I think I will post here since my focus right now is on exercise. I have put the scale away and I am going by how I feel and look in my clothes.
I just got back from a new class at my gym called core commotion- it was very tough.
My butt has been so sore this last week, everytime I bend over I feel like my pelvis is going to pop through the back.
I am contemplating going back tonight for yoga

Joni135 01-15-2007 01:47 PM

Lisa - yeah....company! I, too, needed to focus on something other than food, so this thread helps me out. Never heard of core commotion....what did they do that made your butt hurt so bad??? I keep saying I'm going to go do yoga, but haven't made it yet.

Kimphin 01-16-2007 09:49 AM

Didn't get to gym yesterday - ice, boo! Of course, I could have compensated by getting on my treadmill... oh well, it's a new day!

Tonight -

20min Pilates
30 min weight training
30 min treadmill

sleep....

emmysmom 01-16-2007 10:18 AM

Fluidity bar seat and thigh workout...my legs felt like rubber bands!

Joni135 01-16-2007 10:48 AM

45 minutes on the treadmill
15 minutes stretch

Tina - I keep looking at the fluidity bar....it's still over $200 on ebay...so no go for me! I may have to rent a DVD on the Bar Method (hey, Juliemarie, Netflix has one New York Bar Ballet workout or something like that!).

Kim - I like how you threw in sleep after exercise!

emmysmom 01-16-2007 11:01 AM

The fluidity bar is expensive, Joni, but I really do love it. They have a payment plan if you buy it direct. It's like $40/month. The really neat thing is that my 3-year-old does it with me. She goes to gymnastics so I guess the bar makes her feel like she's doing her gymnastics. My husband says he could see my hips and thighs thinning out, so it must be working!
