Default WI week of 10/21

Okay, who weighs in on Sunday or Monday? How did you do this week? I don't officially WI until Wed, but I think it should be good.....

LaDean - a lb loss as of Sat - Good for you! Lets all stick together and keep those scales moving down!

Francine - how are you doing? Keep up the momentum!

It is Sunday and a rare one where we have NO activities going on!!! I am going to take advantage of that and get somethings accomplished around the house. That should put me in a better mood all week if I can actually SEE my table and countertops! What does everyone else have going on?

Well I am off to fold a load of clothes and then pay bills. WOOHOO!

I'm glaid all you ladies are doing well. I wish I could say I'm doing well but I'm not. I'm so discouraged right now and not motivated anymore. I feel like there is nothing I can do to stop all the weight from coming back. I know I have to get back on that wagon and fight back, but I just can't seem to stay on it. One day, I wake up and think this is it. I'm doing good, I'm back on the wagon. The next day, I fall right back off again.

I don't know what to do anymore. With all the energy problems I have, I can't exercise for more then a few days before I become exausted. I have anemia and it seems like it's very difficult to lose weight now. I'm eating too much. I just don't know what I'm going to do. All I can think of is that I'm gaining all the weight back and I will never be able to get control of my eating habits again and lose weight.

Francine, in his book "the 3 hour diet" he says you don't have to exercise to lose weight on this plan so don't beat yourself up over exercise and do what you feel like doing when you can. Have you tried the 8MM ones in the book? They are easy but will help, many are done sitting in a chair.

Sounds like your overwhelmed and I know I get that way and just give up. Look how well you have done in the past. What did you do then to lose? Think back.

I usually start back by taking babysteps, like taking several days to up my water intake, then work on the 3 hr. timing (that was the hardest for me) now I know when 3 hrs. is up and time to eat without looking at a clock. Then tackle the food like the snacks. I find it easier to get back on track this way and not overwhelming.

Good luck and post here a lot-everyone is more than happy to listen and support you.

Francine- - we've all been there at one point or another. The important thing is to NOT GIVE UP! Maybe your goal for now should just be to maintain, not GAIN anymore. Then when you finally find what ever "IT" is to motivate yourself, you won't have to start back from the beginning. And Phyllis' idea of babysteps is also good. Come here often and maybe it will help. If you are typing I have found it is harder to snack!

Well, I weighed in this morning. It ended up being a STS. Not what I had hoped for, but not a gain, so I will take it. I really didn't do anything to go off plan, so maybe I'm just at a little plateau. I will be sticking to plan like glue this week in hopes of a better result next Wed! I did see 180 last Friday and I am VERY excited to see the number drop into the 170's, so I have lots of motivation!!

Still super busy at work. I typically work 35 hours a week. The last several weeks it has been more than 45 hrs, so I am exhausted when I get home. Plus I still have to run the kids here there and everywhere, so there is not much "me" time. That's okay, because it doesn't leave a lot of time for snacking or eating too much!

Okay, I'm off to my next project. Make every bite count!

Thank you ladies for being there and giving me your support. I will go ahead and take baby steps and try to get back my life in order and get control of my emotions and body again. From now on, it's one day at a time.

Congrats to you for that weight loss LaDean. Same for you for STS Sharon. Maintenance is just as difficult as dropping a few pounds. Keep it up!

Talk to you later.

Hi all!

I am back...hopefully I can jump on the WL train. I am up to a few pounds. But this is my starting point for the next phase of my journey.

Great job LaDean! Keep going Sharon you can pull through the plateau...are you still doing the...what was it you were doing...frozen meals? I forgot the name.

Francine I feel for you. Keep grinding away and you will get back the motivation...it seems like it is just beyond reach but you can do it!!!

Take care Ladies!

Vicki - Great to "see" you! Jump right in with us. I have a short term goal to lose 10 lbs by Christmas - a pound per week. Maybe you can join me? I was doing NutriSystem, but the food was not to my liking. It did however get me back on track with portion size and better choices. I am currently just watching what I eat and how much of it. So far, so good!

LaDean- Sorry, somehow I missed your post above. AWESOME job on the 4.5 lb loss!!! WTG! Keep doing whatever you're doing - it works!

"see" you later!

All right ladies! I was listening and followed your advice. I went back to the basics. Read Jorge's book last night again. I've setup my weight loss goals and split them up in 3. My first goal is to lose 13 pounds by December 4. That's with 2 pounds per week. But since I'm not doing exactly the same eating plan Jorge does, I'm not sure if I'll suceed at losing 2 pounds per week again. But it doesn't matter. What's important is having a goal and working hard to achieve it. I've also decided to only weight in once a week. I think that weighting in every day for me doesn't work. It depresses me with I see I've gained back the 1 or 2 pounds lost 1 or 2 days before. So I'm going back to once a week.

So this is it. I'm starting again, and I'm not looking back. It doesn't matter that I've gained over a lot of weight during the summer. What matters is that I eat healthy again, I start my 8MM again, and I lose weight again! Life goes on!

Nice to see all of you doing well! Keep it up!
