I weighed today. I'm down 1 lb from last Sunday. So I lost the 8 lbs I gained during surgery plus 1 real pound.

I guess on Monday....everyone seems to have switched to Mondays.

I didn't WI this a.m. (forgot) but I was up 2 lbs. yesterday from eating out 3 nights in a row and the wine I drank......back on track today but we are grilling out and corn on the cob, which means I have to have BUTTER!!!!

So I guess I will get back on track tomorrow!!!!

OK, on Monday, I was 171. I started at 175, so I lost 4 lbs.

BTW - the deadline for the 10 lbs has been extended. Unfortunately, my dentist says I have infections in my gums and must have gum surgery before I can have the hip surgery - ain't old age fun? Anyway, I'll probably have to hold off on the hip surgery until mid-August.

Girls, take care of yourselves now, or you'll pay for it later.

OK - the good news is, I should be able to lose another 15 lbs by 8/15. The more the better according to my surgeon.

Who knows, by the time I lose all this weight, I may not need the hip surgery.

Thats a great attitude Lynn... Wouldn't it be great not to need the surgery! Gum surgery isn't a picnic...I'm sure you will loose a few just from that.
Hugs to you and Donald... How is he doing these days?
