Hi all.
Just had a few questions about the plan before I get started. I got the book, read the whole thing and am getting my grocery list ready for tomorrow and plan to start Monday on the diet. I plan to start the first week or two, using mostly frozen meals to save the trouble of trying to get the proper balance. Once I get going, i'll expand.
Here are my questions:
The plan says you will have (3) 400 calorie meals...but then in the suggestions, shows all 300 calorie meals....is it 300 or 400?
In Jorge's book, it lists frozen meals but they all are diet meals...is it ok to buy other kinds as long as they are under the calorie limit?
Also...do the 100 calorie snacks HAVE to be from the list, or can it be anything..like a salad or a half of a sandwich?
And in trying to find fast foods that I can eat on family outings...I came up with combinations like this one: From KFC...side order of green beans (50 cal) , side order of mashed potatoes with gravy (120 cal) and then over to MacDonalds for a 4 pc chicken nugget (220 cal) Thats a total of 390...something like that would be ok if we are on the go, right?
One last question...I saw the freebies list...does that mean that I can eat say...sliced cucumber for an extra snack outside of my regular snack and meals? Or does it have to be eaten on a 3 hour mark?
For now, i'm trying to ease into this very gently....if I can go a week or two just getting the calories right and can snack on fresh veggies in between, then i'd be glad. I want this to work but dont want to feel so deprived that I give up after a week.
