Talking OK It's FRIDAY

Well, WI is around the corner and I know I have not lost

I haven't done that bad this week but nothing that would make me lose. I am going to the gym today as I haven't been able to go this week at all.

My vacation is sneaking up next week and I now find out by the 10 day weather forcast that it will be cool in Ohio, Tenn. and S. Carolina so I have to re-think my clothes I'm taking and get a couple new things that are warmer.....remember, I'm the Florida lady so I don't have many WARM things. But they are all on sale so that's good.

So I still have a few days to lose this water bloat so that is now my goal....drinking tons of water and making my portions smaller for just a few days.

No big week-end plans here, shopping, Church and maybe the beach again and packing.

Hi Phyllis! Say hi to my Mommy while you are in Ohio. We're going in June for a week. I haven't seen her in over a year and I miss my Mommy.

It's cold in the office again today so I'm going to go to Hallmark today at lunch. I need birthday and Mother's Day cards and new baby cards. And no, I'm not sending one to Tom and Katie.

My unwelcome houseguest is leaving on Sunday and I'm counting the minutes. Yesterday, he played on-line poker from 1:00 p.m. in the afternoon until 5:30 a.m. this morning with only about a 15 minute break to get dinner.

I'm glad it's Friday. I've really upped my workouts this week and I'm tired.

Susan where in Ohio is your mom? Does this mean you grew up here? How did you get to Colorado then?

Don't forget to wave Phyllis as you pass me by on your way north!

My parents live in Mount Sterling and my brother is in Washington Court House.

I lived in Westerville for years and worked in Columbus.

My ex-husband was from Cleveland originally. We got the bright idea one day back in 1993 to move to Phoenix on a whim. So we did. Then after 8 years in Phoenix, my boss decided that 20 years at the same company was enough for me and him, and we moved to Colorado and took a job here.

Funny thing is, 3 months after moving to Colorado, the company closed and my ex-husband walked out.

But now I have a better job, a better husband and if it just didn't snow here, it would be pefect.

Default Susan: Q re Phoenix

How did you go from desert to snow???? I lived in Phx 4 yrs and then moved to Tucson; now we are in California... I don't know if I could ever do snow!! I didn't like going to Flagstaff to "play in the snow" or even Mt. Lemmon to the snow either! Give me the "dry heat" anyday! LOL!

Everyone have fun and safe trips!!!!

I'll be traveling to the Bay Area to see my mom this weekend! It's less than 2 hours, so not a big trip.
