Anybody have any ideas on how to get that water down? I'm not a big drinker period. Water, milk, juice, pop, anything really. I just don't feel the thirst to drink really. So I've been pushing myself to drink water. But does anybody have great ideas on how to WANT to drink more water? Not just because you have to! Water is quite a challenge for me.

Today, I will exercise on the treadmill. Need to do my second exercise of the week!

Default Good Day!

I have a chicken breast, a little cottage cheese and some strawberries for lunch, plus packed a couple of bottles of water. That will be good - then off to DF's forsupper. Hopefully he will have something that is not too bad. DM is very bad right now - don't know if you remember, but when the LL got started on the Jorge board she was very ill. Has a disease called Multiple System Atrophy - she has been completely bedridden for almost 2 years now. DF is primary caregiver with 4 hours a day form home health care. Anyway, she has now devoloped pnuemonia as well as another urinary tract infection and they are not going to treat either one. Just continue the high doses of morphine for pain and see what happens.
I have discovered a new evening treat - Blue bunny has some new - at least new to me- frozen pops called froz fruit. They have chunks of real fruit in them - the raspberry ones are especially good - 45 calories.
Have a good day, all!

I drank the dang water -- Francine -- I still hate it after 10 years. I just have to force it.

One thing I found that helps is to set a reminder on my calendar for every hour. When the reminder beeps, I drink an 8 oz glass. I can drink 8 oz fairly quickly.

Francine I read somewhere the things that can happen to your body when it gets dehydrated. I was very encouraged after that to drink alot more then the 16 oz of liquid I drank daily. I really hated water with apassion all growing up.I have been drinking more over the past 2 years. It too me a very long time to work up to 128 I am drinking now. Some simple things that happen when you do not drink enough, bad skin, feeling tired, your body is unable to function at its peak.I did see an improvement in my skin and I seemed to be more energetic.
