Default Who is new?

Hi Everyone,

I was away for a while and am not sure who is new (within 1 month) and has NOT answered any questions. I see someone pulled up an old Newbies post - should we start a new one?

Lynn

Default I'm new!

Well I joined J. Cruise here, about two weeks ago and started my lifestyle change this past Sunday! Although I did post an intro in the Intro & Bios forum!!!

So far so good. I have been noticing big changes in what I eat. Not so much mindless eating you know. The food journal has really really helped me! So I keep track of everything I put in my mouth!

I am here because I just had my 3rd child back in August and this is my first time at being a stay at home mom - much harder than I thought, and to keep my sanity, I have to do something for myself... and I would LOVE to look back and say "while I stayed home and took care of my kids, I also took care of myself" WOW that will be very important for me. Staying home just taking care of kids, for me is very hard. I was kinda loosing myself and keepting track of what I eat so far has brought some sense of reality back to me! HA!

My biggest challenge: sticking with it. I've never ever stuck to a diet for more than 2 or 3 weeks. I did Atkins the longest for three weeks, I think then I got pregnant and had to stop. So this first week I know will be "easy" but will it be so "easy" in two weeks??? three weeks???

That's another reason I'm here, I need to support and accountability to you all here. If in three weeks, you don't see me.... UH OH, someone better come knocking to say "get back here you!!!" ha ha! This board is GREAT! It's wonderful to have cravings and come here and read the posts and realize that I should drink water, take a walk, or just the time to read the encouraging words is enough to pass the cravings and then I feel good!!!

Thanks everyone!!!!

Welcome Little Freedom

Like yourself, I started JC shortly after giving birth to my second child during my maternity leave. When I came back to work, I shocked a lot of people with my weight loss. I had lost over 50 pounds and changed my hair color and style. A total makeover. Let's just say, when I wanted to go by unnoticed by some people, with a good pair of sunglasses, they did not know me! LOL

You can change your lifestyle too like so many of us here. We can all do it when we make the decision to change our lives. There are wonderful women here offering amazing support, so I'm sure you will love it here as much as I do! It feels great to come here every day and communicate with people who are doing the same thing I'm doing.
