Smile My First Weigh In

Hiya everyone,

I just started Jorge Cruise's diet on Sat, so this is my first weekly weigh in.. I lost 4 lbs .. I'm happy, i know thats probably the most i'll lose in a week but since i don't have so much to lose, i'm happy!!

I havn't really been excercising since i'm so not fit the only excercise i've been doing is working on the elliptical trainer for about 15 mins everyday..nothing else..i'll start doing more gradually.. i havn't been following the diet to the letter, i'm eating every 3 hours like it says, with the treat and sacks too.. but i've been counting calories instead of doing the food group thing.. coz thats very hard for me to do..
Cruise says if you weight less than 140(i think that was it) you should eat 200 less cals than the diet says so i've been cutting my breakfast by half.. i've been averaging about 1100 cals a day although i've been aiming at 1250.. Also, i've been drinking all my water.. and trying to cut down on salt.

I just wanted to say that i'm very happy with the diet so far.. although it requires planning its quite easy to follow.. it makes more disciplined coz i have to plan ahead.. the best part is that i don't have to go for hours wihtout food, which just DOES IT for me.. sometimes lunch is hard to eat on time coz i have a class on luch time 3 days a week so i just eat earlier, but then half an hour before my 2nd snack i'm hungry..
PLUS, i've been feeling pretty good the whole week, i don't feel like i'm on a diet which is completely different than when i was on other diets before, my mood would change and i'd be very lazy and always have headaches..i hope i can stick with this diet.. and i'll probably be doing it for life ..
Anyways, just wanted to share what i like about the diet and how i'm doing so far

I hope i lose as much next week, till then take care..
Cheers,
Emma

PS i LOVE reading about how everyone is losing, it really motivates me!

Great job Emma! I count the calories too. Otherwise, I was eating too much food.

Congrats on your 4 pounds, keep going and you are right, it doesn't feel like you are on a diet because this is a lifestyle and not a a diet..
