Default Weds. ~ hump day

Well, I dropped a couple lbs of water weight overnite but I play with that off and on. But still was nice to see those scales move in the right direction. I have been really doing excellent the last 2 days. Wish I could bottle this new enthusiasm I have.

Everything has calmed down here to an even level for a change, thank goodness. It was about 8 weeks of nerve wracking drama.

I am off to the gym today (I was only able to go once last week) but I really missed it. If any of you have thought about Workout express, Curves any of those 30 min. gyms.....I can tell you they are just great....I love doing something for ME

How is everyone else doing so far this week? Anything exciting going on?

Have a good one, Phyllis

Phyllis~ You are doing great! Keep up with that enthusiasm!

I am feeling tired and nauseated and can't wait to get over this part of being pregnant! One good thing is I have to eat every 2-3 hrs or I get sick which is better than not being able to eat at all. I've been trying to keep my cravings tamed and eat healthy and doing a bit of cardio on the elliptical trainer. I am looking forward to having more energy!!!

Everyone here is doing good. The kids are getting along, nobody is sick. The weather was gorgeous over the weekend and now that it is spring we are back to winter weather typical LOL! I think I have spring fever! Except I don't feel like cleaning!
Well, I gotta go eat something, I just wanted to check in
Have a beautiful day all!

Hey everyone,

Phyllis, thanks for the pm. It's nice to be missed. I've been here, off and on, but it's been really hard with all the stuff going on in my head. I'm making an appt with a psychiatrist this week, hopefully will be able to even out my moods.

I'll post again soon. Today I have a migraine AND a cold. Boohoohoo for me. At least the kids aren't here today!!

Well, well, the gang's partly here. Hi Phyllis, Donna, Anita, and Marcie. Good to "see" you all again.

My hip was doing great (after the cortisone shot) & this past week I started walking again. Not a good idea! Looks like I'll need another cortisone shot. It flared up after the 4th day of walking.

After the next shot, I'm going to try the bike. Maybe the walking will have to go.

Went back to WW today - I lost 2 lbs this week. (back to my starting wt on JC).

Donald's about the same. I'm going scrapping tomorrow. Really looking forward to it. My aid will stay an extra 2 hours so I don't have to get home until 4.

Phyllis, hope you're enjoying your retirement.
Donna, hang in there - keep those crackers near the bed.
Anita, good for you! You are so close to goal!
Marcie, feel better. I hope your psychiatrist can help.

Take care everyone,

Lynn

Yesterday, I watched my son's first wrestling match. Boy I almost cried! I always get emotional when i see my kids performing in some way or playing a sport...they are growing up!! He lost by 2 points but he had jammed his thumb on monday playing football, so he said it hindered him some. Went out last night and got all the kids new mits cost almost $100!!! Geeze they better stay in the league through the whole season! My daughter is the one I think will quit...we will see. I was up 2 lbs this morning...don't know where that came from! Hopefully it will fall off again before weigh in!

Everyone have a great day!

Well, it has been a typical, crazy, busy week for me.On top of that, I caught a cold!

I haven't made it to Bally's yet this week, but I still hope to tonight or tomorrow. I am NOT going to let this fall by the wayside!

I have to take a 1/2 of a vacation day today. Michelle has an orthodontist appt and practice for confirmation this afternoon. She is being confirmed in the church on Saturday. I still don't have anything to wear for that yet! Maybe I can find SOMETHING in my closet......Hate to buy clothes now - I would rather wait until I drop a few pounds!

Donna- CONGRATULATIONS! 7 children - I don't know how you do it woman!

Lynn- take it easy with that hip. Ask the doctor about biking, but that seems like an awfu lot of movement on the hip joint as well......

Phyllis- Retirement! How awesome is that! Good for you! Enjoy it!! Lets try to keep the enthusiam up on here to carry us all through!

Marcie - Go easy on yourself. Hope the doctor is able to help you!

Vicki - I cry at all my kids stuff too! I am such a sap!

Anita - You need to hang around and be a good example for all of us. You are a wonderful reminder that we can all DO THIS!

Okay - off to get some work done! Have a great day!!

Yesterday, I watched my son's first wrestling match.

My boys, 7 & 10, just started wrestling last month. They had their first tournament last weekend and did pretty good for only doing it for 4wks. It's different to say the least. They both really like it though.
