Default Challenge for April 1st? No joke!

Is anyone willing to join me in my challenge? I am going to measure hips and waist this Sunday and aim for two inches off each by April 1st for four total inches.

I joked about the winner getting dessert but, frankly, that is the only way I will be letting myself have dessert either way!

I'm in!!!!!

I will measure on Sunday as well.

Lafayette, how are you going to try to achieve your goal? Just with food? Or specific exercise?

I plan to do cardio and weights in addition to eating well!

Ok, I'm in but I will add a few to my own challenge.

Drink at least 64 oz. water 6 days/week

Eat every 3 hours

Exercise at gym at least 3x's a week and start adding evening walks back in.

Cut way back on salt and butter.

That's my goal.......

Good luck everyone, Phyllis

I'm in.

I'll measure on Sunday too. I doubt I'll get that kind of reduction in a month though.

I'm going to hit the gym and stop drinking alcohol and eating dessert- that's what's been killing me weight-wise. I do great and then have a drink pre-dinner when we go out or have a "little dessert" as my evening snack. Last night, I had a shamrock shake from the local Irish Pub- that would be Jameson's, Creme de Menthe and vanilla ice cream. And they say McDonald's is bad!

I'll take your April Fool's challenge! Four inches you say...

Question - what if you get three inches off your waist and ony one off your hips - is that okay or must it be 2 and 2?

I would like to be in but I am new, sooooo. Where are we measureing? (ok, hips an waist, but I am 99.9% jeans and t shirts, last measure was for a prom dress) I have thought about loseing but ever cared about the numbers. Now that I have hit my 6 month plateau, its time for some numbers. If anyone knows of good where to measure diagrams that would be great.

I might be wrong but aren't we just supposed to make our own goals for inches lost? My goal is 1 inch on waist and 1 on hips!

I guess if one is never challenged to what is not possible one will never do what IS possible...

Default Hmmm

Well, I did not want to do this challenge since I think I could drive myself crazy with the measuring ....is my measuring tape in the exact same spot or is the tension to lose or tight ...but I don't want to miss out on the fun ..so I will measure in the morning.
Do I measure at my belly button and at the bones on my hips??
