Default Happy Thursday March 2nd

Good morning - well, it's almost afternoon - everyone! How is everyone today?

My husband was let go from his job yesterday, so by the time I get home today, I am supposed to have a kitchen that's all put back together and clean. He was hooking the stove top back up when I left. He has to put the sink back in, do at least 2 loads of dishes in the dishwasher, put all the stuff back in the cabinets and scrub the kitchen floor. I don't envy him that task -- he is going to have to take a scrub brush and get down on his hands and knees to get all the crap off the floor from the counter tiling -- grout, mastic, and just plain old dirt. He has a huge job to do today.

We are thinking he may not go back to work this time. Or he may find a part time job and be a house husband instead. I can get my house cleaned, my laundry done, all my errands done, grocery shopping done, etc. if he doesn't work full time and stays home and does it. I more than double his income even when he's working full time, so why not?

Marcie - welcome back. Glad to see you survived the in-laws. Tell the husband to go pound sand - there should be enough of it around him.

Laurie - take a deep breath and tell yourself 150 times that you are worth it and you love yourself. Then stomp your foot really, really hard and scream out loud that you are going to get back on the program right now, right this minute.

Today is a nice day. Send your husband here when he's done, Susan. I have a pile of laundry taller than my head! And dishes, and errands, and mopping...well, you get the picture.
