Red face Wed weigh in

Down one....
I must stay focused this week since I have been up and down with this lb all week. I must drink my water and keep moving ...does drinking decaf herbal tea count as some of my water?
I hope you are all having a good day.

I love this carrot...move girl..move
Lou

Can anyone tell me how to move my bicycle lady down a lb...

Lou - I go into the code where I edit signature (under CP) and just select the current weight (in your case 136) and type the new weight. This should adjust the ticker accordingly. If there is another way, I'd sure like to know, LOL...

Good job with the one lb - hey - BTW - I know there is something in the book about those under 150 lbs... Do you need me to look into that for you or are you already aware of whatever it is... I never looked because - well - I am simply nowhere near there, LOL...

Hi Lou

Like you, my weight is not moving. Or at least not in the right direction. I haven't even changed my ticker yet. Will weight in on Sunday and update the results no matter what.

I lost it for a couple of days and have been overeating. It all started with one week of staying the same. I was disapointed and started eating too much. Now, that I think about it, it was probably good to stay the same. I had exercised more that week, so perhaps, I had gained some muscle. I was so sure I had lost weight. I could see it on my body but not on the scale.

Scales are dangerous sometimes. I keep reminding myself it's just a number measuring everything. Not just my fat. But I still have to weight in every week and I still get disapointed when that number isn't what I want to see.

So let's hang in there and continue to eat well and exercise. Eventually, that scale number will come down! In the meantime, I'm trying to see results with how my clothes fit on me. More tight! More loose!

Measure measure measure!!!! Always back yourself up with a measuring tape - the scale is always a little bit behind... A measuring tape will save you from exasperation sometimes - definitely worth measuring!!!

Certain places like the waist is easy to measure but places like your thighs are harder. It's difficult to measure the exact same area. So the next month, you could be measuring your thighs and you don't have the same measurement. I still measure but sometimes don't see the right results either.

Under 150 cuts the calories at snack time to 100. I just posted that I think you should reconsider this if you are active... no resaon to tell your body it's starving if you are heading in the right direction with activity. I had a hard time with it.

Good luck!

I know how you feel Anita....I'm up 3 lbs...but I have been eating like there is no tomorrow....changing that today.

Maybe you could ask on the JC site about exercising and needing a few more calories???

Okay - I checked the book... Here is what it says (page 258)

"If youare short in stature (5'3" or less) and you weigh 150 lbs or less, you may plateau more quickly on the 3 hour diet than someone who has more weight to lose or is taller. A lerger body burns more calories. That's all there is to it. As you lose weight you'll need to adjust your diet accordingly.

So, if you weigh less than 150 pounds, the standard 3 hour diet may simply supply too much food. You can easily solve this issue by cutting your breakfast in half and eating only 200 calories during this meal. Continue to keep this balanced, consuming a mix of carbohydrates, proteins and fats. Just eat half as much."

I knew I saw it somewhere...

Well since I am 5'2 o.k....maybe 5'1 or so and under 150 lbs I eat a 210 cal zone bar for breakfast and my snacks are only 100 cal which I find difficult but I am doing it...I am starving between snack and lunch or snack and dinner but I try to keep busy. I believe the book say's that once I reach my goal weight I can increase my snacks to 200 cals to maintain and not lose weight...boy am I looking forward to that....

Thanks for the help Daisy bug...I moved my bike lady...

Hey francine..let's get that scale moving..I haven't been excersizing like I should and I know that makes a difference with my weight loss..

allright girls let's get back on track....
