Hi everyone! If you haven't started yet - now is a good time to jump right in! Let's work together to increase our step count. I will revise the original challenge since so many easily top 10,000 steps. I will make it more like levels that we can acheive... Stay tuned for updates! In the meantime Git 'er done! You can DO IT!!!!
Please use this basic format for ease and consistancy in viewing:

Bad week with illness and job change... I'll come back next week. I need a mental health moment! I have no interest in eating- be careful what you ask for!
Ok I tried to start but I still haven't had the chance to take my pedometer back. It keeps restarting itself so I will hopefully be able to do that today!!

I look forward to my lazy days. It means I didn't have to be responsible for anything. Today I am KID free! It is snowing outside and after my 20 min workout and 1 serving of chocolate, I am being LAZY.
I got a pedi last week and wore it for about 5 days, but it seemed to have some minor issues. Every little jostle registered as a step . The good news about that was that I was consistently going over 10,000 steps. What an ego-booster . Example, on Day 3, it registered over 14,000; on Day 4 it registered 4,500 before I had even gone downstairs for the morning!). The bad news is, truth be told, not very many of them were bona-fide steps .
I looked over the sticky thread about this challenge and picked up a tip I can try. I'll clip the pedi backwards inside my pocket today and see how that goes. I'll also count exercise conversion steps (neat idea!). If my pedi doesn't cooperate and make a number that sounds reasonable, I guess I'll have to get a new, more reliable one.
In any event, here's to high-steppin' for the day! Cheers!
Lena
